darkwolf777
Telling someone a card sucks isn't really answering his question. It would be better to answer the question as he's expecting it to be answered, instead of being blown off by stating his choice of cards sucks. If I came here asking for good ways to make a Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth deck, then I'd hope I'd get answers instead of "Petit Moth sucksss". I didn't answer it because I don't really have an answer for him.
BulletMan
Soo... I have a Machina Fortress in hand, and a Machine monster (lets say a Gadget or something). I can discard both to Summon that Machina Fortress because the total Level is more than 8 and I have discarded Machines, meaning I can Summon it??? Is this true? Is this true?[/quote'] It was known that this was allowed before it even came out. A ruling on Dragon Ice, which has a similar requirement, states: You can discard "Dragon Ice" from your Hand to the Graveyard as a cost to activate its effect' date=' and then it will be Special Summoned from your Graveyard.[/quote']

werewolfjedi
Just to clarify something...Are "Ice Boundary" and "Ice Barrier" the same thing? I think so, just like the fabled pair, but names are names, and only one or the other count for their respective cards.

I see Ice Barrier on Japanese Cards, but not TCG Cards etc. Sure it's a slight translation thing, but in programs like YVD I wanna make sure it's a valid argument due to localization issues. Sephiroth_The_Legend
im pretty sure they are. Ice Boundary is the TCG release while Ice Barrier is the OCG.

burnpsy
Last I checked, Ice Barrier was the English name, and Ice Boundary was just in translations.

werewolfjedi
Mark of the Rose takes control of my monster. Then I Book of Moon it. darkwolf777
Mark of the Rose takes control of my monster. Then I Book of Moon it. Control is now of...? When a monster is flipped face-down' date=' Equip Spell cards that were equipped to it are destroyed and its effect is no longer applied. You would gain control of your monster back.[/s'] it should be stuck where is it I believe. but if you have book of moon ready' date=' chain it. then it can't equip and it fizzles.[/quote'] I can see how you can think that and its kinda making me second guess myself. When that happens, I resort to testing it out via the video games :D brb~ Results: Good call werewolfjedi, you're indeed correct. Weird things happen in terms of flipping it face-down than just bouncing the card. If you bounce or destroy "Mark of the Rose" it does indeed return to its owner, but flipping the monster face-down seems to have different results. To try and make any sense of it, I would say while destroying or bouncing "Mark of the Rose" (did so with both Giant Trunade and standard card destruction) would return your monster, but in the terms of flipping a monster face-down, it is no longer a valid target for "Mark of the Rose", so its effects cannot cancel on the face-down target that isn't valid for it in the first place and therefore stays on that player's side of the field. Other than that, I can't really figure how it works this way. I've been striking myself a lot lately, i need to think before I post, lest i want to continue looking like a fool =.=; When I post at work, I don't tend to think. burnpsy
werewolfjedi got it. It's sorta how Snatch Steal doesn't give back the monster when bounced.
Zauls
If I try to use Red-Eyes Wyvern's effect while Imperial Iron Wall is on the field, does the effect get negated or does it just stay in the Graveyard and I can Special Summon a Red-Eyes monster from my graveyard? Dark Seraphim
Let say i have Secret Village of the Spellcasters on the field with a face up spellcaster, can my opponent activate a field-spell card to destroy mine?
darkwolf777
Let say i have Secret Village of the Spellcasters on the field with a face up spellcaster' date=' can my opponent activate a field-spell card to destroy mine?[/quote'] No, he cannot. Field Spell cards that are played must successfully activate and resolve before destroying an opponent's Field Spell Card in this fashion. (Note, if you're playing a Field Spell card over your own, then the destruction happens first, then the activation of your own Field Spell card) Your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards, so this cannot occur. Sephiroth_The_Legend
Quick question If i tribute Absolute Zero for Advance Draw or a Tribute Summon' date=' do I still get Absolute Zero's effect?[/quote'] No, as the effects conflict, you will draw 2 from Advance Draw but miss the timing for Absolute Zero. But im not sure but thats how i think it works. Elemental Hero Absolute Zero's effect will activate as it was triggered ("being removed from the field"), and because it is a mandatory effect, not optional, so it cannot miss the timing. After Advance Draw resolves and you draw your 2 cards, Elemental Hero Absolute Zero's effect will start a new chain.

darkwolf777
Sangan timing~ well, i guess its not a bad idea to call it that :D Usually when i'm trying to explain Mandatory and Optional effects, I always tend to use Sangan as the example of the mandatory effect xD Isn't it sad, Witch of the Black Forest? We've forgotten you :(
