darkwolf777
Situation:Heraklinos is on the field and your opponent activates Skill Successor\'s effect from the graveyard. Can it negate the activation of the trap card from the graveyard' date=' and if so, what happens after its being negated? Is it destroyed and sent back to the graveyard, or removed from play still?[/quote'] Yes, you should be able to activate Heraklinos to Skill Successor's 2nd effect. Cards that are in the Graveyard/Remove From Play cannot be destroyed and would stay where they are. If you negate Skill Successor's second effect, it'll stay Removed From Play. darkwolf777
king tiger V fl water' date=' does its effect go off before its destroyed?[/quote'] At least write the names out, couldn't figure out what kintgivaflfwat meant. In any case, King Tiger Wanghu doesn't negate summons. Fortune Lady Water will successfully be summoned and immediately will be destroyed, but her effect is a mandatory effect, not optional, so it wont miss any timing. You'll be able to draw the 2 cards with Fortune Lady Water's effect. Her effect should activate and resolve in the Graveyard (since it would've been destroyed immediately after the Special Summon was successful, before her effect will rightfully activate, and being mandatory, it has to occur, so it will from the Graveyard) Quick Answer: No, it'll be destroyed first, but you will get to Draw 2 cards. See following posts.
Professional Duelist
It's liek how Shrink doesnt work with Wanghu.
darkwolf777
It isn't destroyed "instantly"' date=' Wanghu still has to activate, and forms a Chain Link after Watery if she's Summoned on your turn, or before if on your opponent's. If nothing else is chained, on your turn she'll be destroyed then you draw, or you'll draw and then she's destroyed if your opponent's turn.[/quote'] You're right, I was considering Wanghu as a Continuous effect rather than a Trigger Effect (probably because it lists the trigger at the end of the text instead of just stating "When a monster with 1400 ATK or less is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, destroy that monster"... the wording just felt continuous lol). In that case, as effects activate simultaneously, they form a chain, and since both effects are mandatory, Turn Player's mandatory effects are the first in the chain, then the opponent's. If it is your opponent's Wanghu and its your turn, for example, the chain will be:Chain 1) Your FL WaterChain 2) Your opponent's Wanghu. In which case, Wanghu destroys Water, then you Draw 2 cards. If you control both Wanghu and Water, then being both mandatory effects you control, you can choose the order of activation. Thanks for bringing mistakes to my attention~

Could I use something to send DED to the graveyard' date=' and then remove from play D-something to take him back.[/quote'] All Fusion Monsters must be successfully Fusion Summoned before they can be revived from the Graveyard/Remove From Play. If you simply send it to the Graveyard from the Extra Deck, then no, you cannot Special Summon it with its own effect.

Unfortunately, since this is not considered a proper Fusion Summon, you will not be able to Special Summon him from the Graveyard once it is destroyed. Sephiroth_The_Legend
No. As he's unaffected by Traps. Same sort of ruling behind Wildheart. your opponent can activate the trap, but it will have no effect.

c009tas
ok, i have a situation that i think i know how it works, but i'd just like confirmation on it. Situation: its my turn, I normal summon Alien Warrior, I Call Priority to Special Summon Alien Dog from my hand, My opponent activates Bottomless Trap Hole. He cannot select Warrior because he cannot chain to warrior's summoning because i did first correct? Follow up: If that situation happens, and my opponent uses BTH on my Alien Dog, do i get to distribute the Counter's from Dog's Effect?

Alien Dog's effect starts a chain. The chain would be: 1) Your Alien Dog2) Opponent's BTH. BTH doesn't have to be directly chained to the summon, it can chain to cards that are also chaining to the summon as the Summon is still the last thing to actually occur, the timing is still perfectly fine. Edit: I replicated this in TF4 using Torrential Tribute instead of Bottomless Trap Hole (since you can't BTH your own monsters), and I was indeed able to chain Torrential Tribute to Alien Dog's activation.
