no. as the effect happens during the Damage Step where Oppression cannot work.

what are you talking about, battle fader doesn't work in the dmage step, it's during attack declaration, because that's the action the determines it's effect activation.

why would it activate in the damage step?

Can Starlight Road be Oppressed?

the ruling on wikia says:

"Royal Oppression" may negate the effect of "Starlight Road", even though it is unknown at activation whether or not "Starlight Road" will Special Summon "Stardust Dragon". "Royal Oppression" may negate the effect of "Starlight Road" even if "Stardust Dragon" may not be Special Summoned, such as if "Vanity's Fiend" is on the field or if there is no "Stardust Dragon" in the Extra Deck.

that's bullshit.

opitional effects can't be used as determinal factors, otherwise stardust could negate magical dimension

can chaos sorcerer/cedee/blseb be summoned from the deck grave rfp ect?

if not why not

if so can u remove themself to summon themself?

if not why not

special summon effects on a card that summons that card can only be activated in the hand, if they leave the hand in the middle (aka. as a cost.) they still are summoned.

they must state any other place the summon effect can work, and if they do and still want to keep the hand summon, they must now also mention the hand as well.

From deck, no because they are Simi-Nomi meaning once u pay their summoning costs then u can Special Summon them with cards like Call of the Haunted.

and i dont understand ur 2nd question. Do u mean can u remove 1 Chaos Sorc to summon another? then yes u can.

no, none of those cards' self-Special Summons work outside the hand. After a semi-nomi is properly summoned, though, you can Special Summon it from the Graveyard or removed-from-play zone with a different special effect.

Royal Oppression is such a horrible card with so many horrible rulings :3c

You should understand why Stardust Dragon cannot negate Magical Dimension, as the timing isn't right for Stardust to activate. (It can only chain to the activation of a card that destroys a card on the field, which in the case of Magical Dimension is optional, so you don't know if it actually does destroy or not).

For Royal Oppression, it can negate a Special Summon, as well as an effect that Special Summons monsters... an effect that Special Summons monsters. Whether it special summons or not is irrelevant to Royal Oppression, only the fact that it can.

When you activate "Starlight Road" you agree to activating BOTH effects of the card. How so? You will always be asked the question "Do you want to Special Summon Stardust Dragon?". This cannot be bypassed by any means. If you activate the card, you agree to having the option to Special Summon, meaning an effect will activate during this card's resolution that "special summons a monster" despite whether or not you choose to, or whether or not you even can.

That's my understanding of why it could be chained. Whether that's officially how it works, I don't know. I just wanted to throw my input in that.

I hate Royal Oppression, not because of what it can do, but due to how many rulings it needs to have to be fully understood x.x

Question about Sakuretsu Armor;

I've noticed that Several times in the past, i've been asked to take out my Sakuretsu Armors from my decks. And i've been wondering why I have to take them out. So the question is, what's wrong with a trap card that destroys an opponents attacking monster?

Athena's effect you can use if you have an empty grave if u tribute a fairy?

needs a "targetable" in the grave first.

it's not a chainable, and D.prison is better.
