It's not really Fire King Kozmo if there are only 2 Fire King cards in it.

 

Also, what advantage does Garunix give you over Yaksha if you're not playing any other Fire King monsters? 

 

Oh, and Call of the Haunted seems like it would be better than Oasis of Dragon Souls more often than not, since you could always just attack over stuff anyway.

The deck utilizes the Fire King cards as part of the mechanic and the Fire King cards able to be searched anyway. Besides, it's something to distinguish between an OTK variant to a non-variant. 

 

Garunix honestly is not as good as Yaksha, but the key is Garunix is Level 3. Once you SS Soar ->  Straw -> Delta or something of the like, NS Garunix and make an R3 preferably Leviair, Break Sword, or Giga Brilliant. Yaksha has its utilizations if it dies, but people usually only play the one Garunix in order to reduce clogging.

That's probably fair, since it's less bricky than big garunix. I still feel like I'd hate drawing Yaksha much less, though.

Hmm, more TwiTwi in main? I'd hate to come up against too much back row hit. I'd side the Maxx "C"s, since blinds draws aren't as potent as easily recoverable back row hit.

 

There's always Kozmojo, I suppose, but it's not as potent as Twin Twisters, to me.

I honestly never side in Twin Twisters. Kozmo isn't a deck with great resource management, so you need to maintain as much pilot/ship interactions as possible. Twin Twisters will more likely than not force you to compromise. Full House is honestly what I side in the majority of the time as it is so deadly against backrow-centric decks like Demise, while also having great synergy with Kozmotown.

 

Yaksha was considered since Wickedwitch and Yaksha make Dweller, which can be significant in the BA and Monarch matchups, but I decided to just run the Garunix due to lack of space for said Dweller.

 

Maxx "C" in the side is a pretty dumb suggestion, it's a blowout in the Fire King Kozmo mirror and BA matchup.

 

Oasis of Dragon Souls is no different than Call of the Haunted, but making the ship a Wyrm inherently makes it better for when people decide to side in Cyber Dragons and System Downs.

Effect Veilers was something I wanted to try out, since it really does work vs all decks.

 

Fire King Kozmo - force weird tagouts, invalidates Strawman

Demise Kozmo - shits on Tincan

BA - pretty much ends their turn when used on Terrortop, Tour Guide, Fiendish Rhino.

Monarchs - invalidates Monarchs

Pendulums - stops Pendulum Sorcerer, Ignister, Majester.
