Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
I'm sure they don't need a description, and pretty much everything has a knock off these days. With that said, I wanted to post this because I'm wondering a few things. 1. Have you or someone you knew ever been duped by a knock off?2. Do you think anything can be done to protect the consumers and businesses from fakes? Or is it a lost cause at this point? Personally, I have a set of fake God cards and fake Sacred Beasts, a couple of bootleg Pokemon figures, and other fake YGO cards. These all were when I didn't really know, and the unsuspecting buyer is often the biggest target. What do you think?

Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
Power Rangers knock off... Wait I cant name them all...If it's popular, it's bound to have many knock offs. It's easy for unscrupulous companies to prey on unsuspecting consumers, and parents buying for their kids are often times duped.
vla1ne
I bought a knock-off, gamecube controller adapter for the wii-u, it still works perfectly though, so i have no complaints.
Christian Exodia
1. I do not believe so, but that means I probably have. 2. It's a lost cause. People can justify it being just different enough to be a separate product, or an homage or some stuff like that. There's too much legalese that can basically explain away bootleg illegality. Flash Flyer - Sakura
1. Well, I do have a pile of bootleg Yugioh cards in my room that I now regret buying when I was younger. (Suppose I can use them for OriCas if I want to test my custom cards). Not sure if anything else. 2. Consumers should learn what an authentic product looks like, and be able to spot the differences (though some bootlegs are very close to the original thing). An idea would be to look for the manufacturer's logo underneath (i.e. if I buy a Pokemon plush, look for the official logo underneath; should say TOMY or come from the Pokemon Center place). Not going to speak for what companies can do.

Trebuchet MS
I've learned how to play the game with knockoff cards. Eventually I picked up the ability to distinguish real ones from even very convincing fakes. Now knockoffs are just sources of cheap laughs and/or cringe to me. ♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪
I often use Knock-Offs instead of real Yugioh cards since they are less valuable and some of them are more durable to play........Knock-Offs can be used as a counterfeit/ cheap replacement of their corresponding ally...... Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
Guys, don't forget Robert Cop! Bootlegs are sad and I have already said why, but the actual product can be very funny. Even cars have been ripped off. Compare a Range Rover to the Chinese Land Wind, and a Rolls Royce to another Chinese car called Geely. Restaurants too:

The Nyx Avatar
I got Yugioh cards, like this one (no really; I've owned this very one): I never really bought these cards, though. People gave most of them to me. To prevent people from being duped, you could show them the difference. I don't really know. I do wonder what Type "junta" is. Susie
I love looking at bootlegs just because of how ridiculous they can get especially video game ones, some pretty crazy stuff that goes on in those. Pop culture Somebody decided that Quake, The Prodigy, Apple, and a pikachu OC needed to be shoved together on a backpack with house m.d. written on the top of it? Though tbh it does look kind of fake especially the house m.d. text. The pikachu OC also looks like it was just cut and pasted as well as the apple logo. Keith Flint and the Quake thing do look pretty well cut out though and actually managed to trick me for a bit there.
