ugh, no cheaters allowed would be amazing if it weren't for the cardian restriction. other than that, though, it's still pretty good though, breaks kozmo decks with minimal effort.

inoshikachou is a basically a vastly stronger, cardian specific abyss dweller isn't it? but either way it's great.

if the two spells are exactly like they were in the anime, then they're gonna be busted as hell in the real game, even if they aren't then they'll still be pretty good barring incredible nerfs.

For No Cheaters Allowed, it's worth noting that it hits both sides on the return effect. The Cardian effect is a bit of a bummer, but with Ameshikou out this card becomes very potent.

possibly, but a lot of monsters that summon from hand can do it multiple times per turn, and even if they don't, it puts itself in an extremely bad position by bouncing cardians. ameshikou might circumvent it somewhat, but it doesn't remove the danger permanently, and can easily get you killed if you can't summon your ED carians/ your opponent gets around your ED cardians.

reasonable nerf (banish face-down) and still keeps the spirit of ENJOY! i love it. also, soul absorption for the lulz.

OP was updated for the new cards.

and I must say, I really like what they've done with them. Chou Koi Koi will kickstart plays from the grave, and I like that they have from-grave effects at all; it'll make those misfired draws better. I'm a little disappointing that Chou Koi Koi forces Level 2 and negates effects; because now you can't even use the nomis on what you summon. But, it doesn't force a xenophobia clause, so while you don't get any dank Xyz plays out of it, you'll at least have access to a wide variety of very solid level 6 synchros. Plus, being able to summon a Cardian from your hand ignoring conditions is really helpful.

I'd say this confirms the remaining 4 Cardian main deck monsters and Gokou.

The Spells offer a massive consistency boost to the Deck, Inoshikachou is another Synchro Option (and with Gokou likely on the way, there's the 3rd) and No Cheaters Allowed is basically a counter card. I'm happy with this.

Unoshikachou is pretty decent as an alternate pick to Synchro after Ameshikou, but I do wish his ATK was buffed up a little and his effect to grave-lock was Quick, but then again probably any deck can abuse it if they summon it properly and randomly run a Cardian to have in the Grave.

No Cheaters Allowed is...meh. It's annoying if you play Pendulums or Kozmo, but it's weak considering its once per turn, it dies if you don't have a Cardian, and bouncing from hand not a good problem solver in the first place. At the very least, combined with Ameshikou makes this card alright.

The spell cards are absolutely amazing boons to consistency in Cardians. No longer will I have to topdeck just Hana Awase...

Chou Koi Koi

Looks like a fair way to get your Cardians on the field faster.

Hanazumi

Kind of meh. Something Chou Koi Koi could use. St least it has a second effect for recovery.

I actually find Hanazumi to be much more useful than Koikoi honestly. Knowing you won't dead draw into anything that'll stop your plays is HUGE for this deck. Plus, considering how they play, this is effectively a search 3 card. It also combos with Koikoi, of course.

Koikoi is cool and all, but I'm actually not a big fan of its main effect. Since it forces them to be level 2, they can't be tributed to summon another which is a real pain unless you topdeck the tuner. Fortunately, you can use its grave effect the same turn it was sent, so that's something.

The main issue of course still is bricking and NEEDING spells to begin their plays.

Hanazumi is the freakin keystone to the deck.  It ensures that when you summon the better suit monsters that you ALWAYS hit a Cardian for the next 3 summons, AND ensures you know EXACTY what you're gonna get.

Koi Koi is gimmicky and random.  In fact it's only real, consistent use is in combination with Hanazumi.  The ideal starting hand, or at least the starting hand with the most potential, in pure cardians are one of the following:

  1. Hana Awase + Hanazumi + any 2000 attack Cardian
  2. Hanazumi + Koi Koi + ???? (whatever helps you extend your combos harder in that given situation)

That is the bread and butter, and Hanazumi is the common thread between them.
