Well, this is just bizzarre and very strange, how could a phone get stuck in there at the first place? Fortunately, the extraction was a success, through a series of struggle, one word, Mobile Phone really harms human life

Thoughts?

Any idea how the phone got into the stomach? The main possibility is he intentionally consumed it when stressed, without thinking of further consequences....., still it's pretty bizzare for such phone to pass through the oesophagus

a prisoner with a 2 inch phone in his stomach? yeah, it was definitely intentional, he probably swallowed it thinking he could get it back later, and didn't factor in how hard it would be to actually throw up a phone.

is it possible to sit on something really hard and have it shoot into your stomach from your anal cavity?

If it is, then lol.

Because I don't see how you can eat a phone.

It's more possible to swallow a phone.

It would have to go through a long string of intestinal tract to reach the stomach from your anus.

Plus it would have to be standing vertically when you sat on it.

the phone was really small. 2.5 inches i believe, it'd be difficult to swallow, but i've seen enough internet porn to know it's very possible.

The strange thing is that the Phone didn't melt in the stomach? How is it possible to survive Hydrochloric acid? Since it is one of the strongets acid in the world, witha pH level of 1.0. Maybe the phone is small, but formidable after all

odds are it was in the process of melting, and that's the reason that he was getting incredibly sick, from the fumes of the plastic as it melted inside him). but stomach acid, while strong, doesn't immediately dissolve the things in it. it takes a few hours to digest food, and a phone is far more solid than a piece of chicken, so that would explain why it took so long. in addition, since the phone was smaller, i assume there'd be far fewer ways for the acid to penetrate the plastic to ruin the phone's interior (at least not very quickly), but either way, it was a stupid idea.

It is one way to make sure you do not misplace your mobile phone.

okay what the funk

Doctors were amazed to find the gadget wedged in the stomach of a 29-year-old Irish prisoner admitted to hospital after vomiting for four hours and complaining of stomach pains.

yeah, no sheet they were amazed. What kind of word is "amazed" in a news article anyway? You could have said "Flabbergasted" or "in awe" or something more sufficient.

The team at Department of Surgery, The Adelaide and Meath Hospital, Dublin, said they had hoped the phone would be passed by the body. But after eighteen hours. X-rays showed that the phone was not budging.

Nice sentence fragment, dude.

In August 2013, it was reported that a 19-year-old Brazilian Adriana Andrade swallowed her phone because she was worried her boyfriend would read text messages from another man.

When you're worried your boyfriend will find out you cheated on him, you might not want to harm yourself doing so. You could always just flushed it down the toiled or snapped it in half.

Why was this article written just over a week ago when this happened almost three years ago

this article is a mess

The founding of the phone is quite strange and obscure, which surprised the doctors, which can be referred as amazed, but like you say it is quite macabre and awful to find it, and in awe will be more sufficient for a news article.......

the Telegraph co should hire more experienced journalists there...
