Lunar Origins
life in general is eugenics itself it's not perfect, it's slow as hell, but we're evolving better. we're not gonna get 'dumber' as a whole.
vla1ne
The thing is, how many people are going to answer that question truthfully in the first place? Is it really an efficient way of matching up people with similar beliefs? I dare say the chances of getting paired with someone who intentionally said yes to catch and shame others who did is higher. There are plenty reasons to lie and answering the question either way says too little about your belief on eugenics that I feel it just isn't very useful for someone who does believe. It offended some of the people who are too sensitive about this so that's a plus but for its intended purpose I can't help but feel doubtful.it does ask that you answer honestly in the survey right? it's a dating site, why would you answer the opposite of what you believe when doing so would likely lower your chances of finding somebody to match with even further than being dishonest on the topic would? I assume though, that it's there to simply separate two completely opposing sides, if you decide to lie on the subject, just to find a partner, then that pretty much says you're at least willing to compromise on that question, so either way it's not completely negative. and if you say you believe in eugenics just to troll, odds are even if you find a match, they'll either share your manner of humor, or might be willing to argue the point. it's not perfect, but it can at least get a connection of sorts going. Somehow I just have a feeling controversial questions like that do little to accomplish its intended purpose on a dating site.
