Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
It has something to do with scents....it seems odor is the true killer Here's one theory from the DaiilyMail article The mink's powerful anal glands leave marks wherever they go and the strong musty smell they emit is obviously proving irresistible to dogs.It would also explain why the deaths have all occurred on sunny, dry days - relatively rare on the notoriously wet west coast - when the mink smell has not been diluted by the damp weather. Furthermore, the theory fits with the timeline of the deaths - single minks were introduced to Scotland in the Twenties but only started to breed in large numbers in the Fifties - which is when the mysterious dog deaths began occurring. However.... But there are 26,000 mink in Scotland. Why are dogs in pursuit of them only jumping to their death from this particular bridge? Furthermore... Why for example are all the deaths centred around the final two parapets on the right-handside?
♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪
The parapets are cursed! that's the only reasonable truth I believe, other than the odor one, maybe they should make the bridge a restricted area to prevent death of our canine friend....., or demolish it
MiracleGhost47
It must have something to do with the high-frequency sound waves caused by the bridge's unique structure. As the sound of minks and other wildlife haphazardly echo across the bridge, it confuses a canine's sense of hearing, causing it to falsely believe that whatever its chasing must be shortly off the bridge. So, why do the surviving dogs jump off again? At first, they have difficulty trusting their hearing, but as they slowly recover from the incident, they begin to remember that their hearing is reliable in most circumstances. By the time they come back to the bridge, they jump off again, only to be reunited with the slight "chance" of disappointment they learned of in the first incident. Nah jk. I have no idea what's going on. :P
