I like that Dakini gets around any and all effect protection

How often do you get Dakini on field? Dont she uses a lot of resources? I never tried to make pure Cyber Angel.dek because she asks for more than 6 Levels to summon and her first effect is not that great for me to give her a chance.

A lot? A level 6 + a level 2 isn't a stretch by any means; especially considering the sheer value you get off of the summon; you get to add one back to your hand at the end phase, and it it's Benten then you get an additional search. Say the level 2 was Petite Angel from the grave, and here's how it goes:

- Sanctuary summons Petite; Petite searches (+2)

- Activate Ritual and discard Benten and tribute Petite (+2 - 3 = -1)

- Benten triggers a search (-1 + 1 = +0)

- Dakini recycles at end phase (+0 + 1 = +1)

That's not a lot of resources; that's giving myself resources.

 

As for that first effect; are you insane?! Read it again; it gets around any and all protection effects so long as it's not on a Pendulum monster. This is HUGE; this means that it works on Magnus, it works on Chaos Max, it works on Ultimate Falcon, etc. etc. Why would you just write off what is some legitimately fantastic removal on a monster that you either break even on the summon, or gain even more resources for? It's how you're going to actually out a lot of stuff.

 

 

 

Why Striker over Red Resonator?

 

Manju doesn't trigger on a Special Summon and I can get better work off the resource gains by getting both a synchro and a search. It's not the greatest, I'll admit, but whatya gonn' do?
