Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
Aokigahara is a forest in Japan that is located near Mt. Fuji. How can a forest be so creepy and sad? Well, it has another name: Suicide Forest. Take a guess why. http://fusion.net/story/252500/japan-suicide-forest-sea-of-trees-aokigahara-mt-fuji/ http://mysteriousfacts.com/aokigahara-the-suicide-forest-of-japan/ I have been doing extensive research on hauntings and creepy places, and while there are rumors and legends of this forest being haunted, Aokigahara takes the cake as the creepiest thing I've researched so far. It's also very sad to think how many people have come here to end their lives because they feel there's no way out. I'll let you be your own judge on the supernatural, as I have my own belief, and so do you, but it's hard to deny how disturbing this place is. Yet, tourists visit it. VICE on YouTube has a documentary on this as well, if you actually want to see video on this, that is. There's other videos of it on YouTube as well. Would you be brave enough to visit such an eerie place, though? Personally, as someone who has been depressed before, I'll never understand how people can come to the conclusion that suicide is the only way out. It just causes more pain. It's not worth it. As sad as this forest is, let it serve as a reminder that it's never worth it.
MiracleGhost47
Nah I don't mind going there. It's the perfect place to to jump-scare people- then get punched in the face as a result.
Susie
Ive always had a huge huge fascination with Aokigahara, was at first pumped when I heard they were making a horror movie about it but I got bummed out by all the bad reviews it got. A bit of a shame that a place that beautiful could be shadowed over as a suicide area but at the same time it adds a level of intrigue.

Like, suicide is very much a tragedy, but, why this forest? What makes this forest such a hotbed of suicide?

What makes this forest such a hotbed of suicide?Perhaps to get more attention from the suicide. If everyone who commited suicide died in their houses, only the family and close friends will probably be aware. If there is a specific area where many people kill themselves, it serves as a world-wide beacon. That's my speculation.
♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪
Some believe, Aokigahara is cursed, other believe it's a suicide ground, but what can I draw as an conclusion is DO NOT go there if you respect your lives.....Plus it has an eerie setting with creepy dolls and other abandoned toys....., perfect for a horror movie, but certainly not one for vacation

Snatch Steal
Wow, thanks for failing on me, quotes. “Your life is a precious gift from your parents” “Think about your children, about your family” “Please consult the police before you decide to die!” Honestly, if someone wants to kill themselves, it's probably for a reason, and I'm certain they'll see it through until the end, no matter how long it takes them to achieve it. Personally, as someone who has been depressed before, I'll never understand how people can come to the conclusion that suicide is the only way out. It just causes more pain. It's not worth it. As sad as this forest is, let it serve as a reminder that it's never worth it. If you've never gotten to the point where you've wanted to kill yourself, you've never been depressed. I'm gonna regret saying this later I know it :^)
