♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪ Posted May 4, 2016 Report Share Posted May 4, 2016 This reminds me of Mussion Impossible, but realizing this could give many benefits, like disabling a burglar to steal your gun and use it for their own sake, but also has disadvantage, unable to use the arms of others. Trebuchet MS Posted May 6, 2016 Report Share Posted May 6, 2016 Implying an EMP blast is convenient to acquire, easily controllable and localized, and has no other lasting effects on other technology. Still, it's a start, I suppose. Forcibly keeping the gun on safety until the smart tech kicks in helps in reducing the number of accidents. I presume there will also be ways to wipe the circuitry's "memory" or duplicate rings in case of the user misplacing their own rings - which can open up a different set of problems.
