The Nyx Avatar
When a LIGHT or DARK monster would be Summoned: Pay 2000 Life Points, negate the Summon, and if you do, banish it. I feel like this is one of those cards that might've seen more use if the cost wasn't so heavy, seeing as LIGHT and DARK are the most prevalent Attributes in the game. You could use this with any of the "Blue-Eyes" monsters, Performapal Skullcrobat Joker, the Dracoslayer Pendulum monsters, Eccentric Archfiend, Number 39: Utopia/Number S39: Utopia the Lighting, and more. The Nyx Avatar
Kozmo tooTrue; though, you'd have to get rid of their Field Spell, too. And regardless, I think most people would rather use Solemn Notice, even if this card's cost was lowered.

One thing this does is that it doesn't just negate Special Summons; Normal and Flip Summons are negated, too.
cr47t
I ran into this the other day with Normal Pendulums ft. Dracos and it was a pain in the butt. I didn't know LIGHT and DARK were the most prominent though, so now I could see it sided into heavy lifegain decks where the cost wouldn't be as heavy. The Nyx Avatar
cute OT: Can this negate pendulum summons? It can negate all Summons (except inherent Summons; or is it the other way around?); though, maybe this is only restricted to the Summon of 1 monster. If it's not, that's great. If it is, that's one more point for Solemn Notice.
