----

Card A

Elemental HERO Gale Force
Level 4 | WIND | Warrior | Effect
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. You can discard 1 Spell Card; Fusion Summon 1 "HERO" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or side of the field, including this card you control, as the Fusion Materials.
1600/1300

Card B

Elemental HERO Turbine
Level 3 | WIND | Warrior | Effect
You can reveal 1 "Mask Change" card in your hand; Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "HERO" monsters during the turn you activate this effect. You can only Special Summon 1 "Elemental HERO Turbine" per turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the Special Summon of a WIND monster: You can activate this effect; Return Spell/Trap Cards on the field, up to the number of face-up "HERO" monsters you control, to their owner's deck.

I'll have to go with Card A.

The NS effect is already impressive, and it is much toned down as opposed to Stratos, even though Stratos didn't need to be banned, tbh. The NS to pop 1 S/T is pretty fair, considering there's Twin Twisters at 3, as well as Kozmo Sliprider being able to pop a S/T on NS or SS. The second effect is also rather impressive, as it can offer a substitute for Polymerization when you don't have a Fusion Spell available. Otherwise, using this by discarding Fusion Substitute allows the Fusion of both the hand and the field (as Fusion Substitute only allows monsters from the field), and you can also use Fusion Substitute's second cycling effect.

An excellent combo would be to Summon this card, pop an S/T, and then discard a Spell Card for the Fusion. Combo generators are always appealing in Yugioh.

Card B isn't bad in any ways, but it is limited to "Masked Change" cards (keep in mind as this does not include other Quickplay "Change" Spell Cards such as Form Change) for the SS. Aside from that, it limits you from Summoning other monsters other than Hero monsters, which means Rank 3 Xyz monsters are definitely out of the question. The hard OPT is also really redundant, as I can't see the harm from Summoning 3 copies of this.

Moving on to the last effect, this again supports the claim of the hard OPT being redundant. I've never heard of Heroes having any broken OTK cards with their Wind monsters, so I think that returning the S/T wouldn't be that bad of a crime for the hard OPT of Summon. After all, if someone manages to get all 3 copies of this card to Fusion Summon, then it's perfectly fine for them to Fusion and bounce the opponent's S/T's on the field. Note that this effect only applies when this card hits the Graveyard for the SS, not when it is actually used as a Fusion Material.

Card B isn't as appealing to use as Card A, as well as being more limited to Wind-attributed Heroes and Masked Change. Due to the higher flexibility and usage of Card A, my vote goes to A.

Out of fairness, OCG has Stratos at 1; as for why Tewart or whoever the hell is responsible for Konami in TCG didn't unban it here, I don't know. (Or at least actually make another WIND Main Deck monster for HEROs so they don't have to run Avian for Kamikaze/Great Tornado; I'll say it again, Avian sucks)

But anyway, 1-0 A, I suppose.

Meh, guess that this will be sufficient enough.

Card A wins 1-0 and goes to the final, so yeah Gadjiltron got his redemption and has a nice rematch against Next Tuesday.

----

To be honest, I do like both of them. A lets you pop something and ditch dead support Spells for Fusions; that's pretty nice. B gives access to Kamikaze for Mask Change purposes (and other stuff), but yeah it requires that you use it for WIND monsters. At the very least, these give HEROs an actually usable WIND monster to play around with until KoA stops being stupid and lets Stratos off the banlist, or makes a new WIND HERO themselves.

(Kamikaze/Great Tornado are also saying to do something, so they can see play again)
