Trebuchet MS
There may be a lot of things you can get away with making things a mythic, but there's still an upper limit on that. sheet IT'S ALSO A MERFOLK WHY
.Rai
Weirdly, I think it's about fine to print. It's just a 2/4 prowess so much of the time that really doesn't attack past much. Sure, it's hexproof and has lots of trinket text, but I think it ultimately doesn't swing for very much on average. Obviously incredibly strong, but in need of a good shell, and not format warping. Hell, would Modern Merfolk even play this? I think Merrow Reejerey is actually a better card for Merfolk in that slot.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Hell, would Modern Merfolk even play this? I think Merrow Reejerey is actually a better card for Merfolk in that slot.Probably would take 1 slot away from reejerey mainboard, with a second in side for things like UWR, where it pulls its weight better. Its greatest synergy is definitely with vapor snag. Bounce their blocker and go for a 6 life swing. Another thing to note is the second blue devotion, for master of waves. I think this fits better in the legacy shell, but don't quote me on that. All that said, I think the hexproof may be pushing it. Maybe drop toughness by one instead, so it is vulnerable to anger of the gods and similar effects.
.Rai
I could see it as a 2/3. A bit less aesthetic, as I like the 2/4 -> 4/2 swap, but, if needs be, balance it I must. Hexproof is probably what makes it playable. I'd certainly keep that on the card.
