ENMaker
Tottenham bottled it, not quite how I predicted but close enough. Leicester now 7 points clear with 3 games to go, Tottenham would have to win every game and Leicester not win any for them to throw it away now. To go from a relegation battle to champions in one season is incredible, this needs a thread. Pls don't somehow funk it up now. Remaining fixtures for Tottenham are Chelsea away, Southampton at home and Newcastle away. Leicester have Man United away, Everton at home and Chelsea away. This would be an image representing that but size made a mess of it.
ihop
Looks over. I could have seen Leicester drawing against Chelsea and United and Spurs winning everything but it'll need something pretty remarkable now. Congratulations to Leicester City, Leicester City fans and "Leicester City fans". I wish I could get more excited and I'd be real happy about it if they'd beaten any team but Spurs to it. Zauls
Up until pretty much last week there were still people saying Leicester will bottle it. I don't think they can any more. They won 4-0 WITHOUT Vardy and they only need to win one of their remaining games. They do have reasonably hard fixtures though so I'm not gonna say they've definitely won it but I reckon they'll beat Everton at least. Also, you're pretty much the first person on YCM to ever talk about football, so kudos for that.
ihop
From what Eden Hazard says it seems pretty likely that Chelsea will throw the match against Leicester. Not like Chelsea are new to throwing matches or anything. Man United is the only team I seriously think can beat Leicester.
Rodrigo
This is history in the making. How many times has a team facing relegation in the previous season won any major European league? Goes to show how absolutely insane their mental strength is. Not even talent or fitness, it's the mental strength and attitude that has won them this championship. I love it when something like this happens in football, which reeks of money, corruption and fixed matches. Please let Leicester be the inspiration other lesser teams need to bring more competition to the leagues. (I'm looking at you, La Liga)
Zauls
Yeah I wouldn't put it past Chelsea to bottle it, but don't they still have some incredibly slim chance of qualifying for the Europa League if some bizarre situation happens as long as they finish like 8th or something? Idk, but I think they'd take that over Spurs not getting the title. Either way, this is all hypothetical and I'm just looking forward to celebrating one of the most incredible moments in sporting history.
~British Soul~
In any case, I'm sure it'll be a close game at Old Trafford, and I know Spurs fans will be watching with baited breath as their next game is the following day.

ihop
It's happened. Congratulations to Leicester, it truly is a remarkable story. In another season I'd be beside myself with excitement about such a result, but it just sucks so much that Spurs had to be the ones to lose out. It's been an incredible season for us too but all of that's just going to be swept under the rug by the hype around Leicester. It's a remarkable moment in history, though. We may never see one like it.
~British Soul~
Tottenham had the chance to delay the party, but end up bottling it as Chelsea equalised. I wasn't paying attention to the match myself, but when I last checked it was 2-0 to Tottenham, which was just after the Harry Kane goal. But yeah, it's one of those blue moon-like occasions, truly a remarkable moment indeed. Now all eyes will be on the relegation dogfight at the foot of the table. ENMaker
Bottle FC ruining the dream of having Leicester win it at their own ground. Would've been a beautiful ending, but ultimately it's not that important. gg
ihop
Yeah please please please can funking Sunderland go down after all these seasons of scraping past, I don't want to watch them anymore. While we're at it, I hope Burnley don't go up either. edit: never mind, they just did. ffs
ENMaker
Nah m8 Newcastle can funk off. Want Norwich to stay up but they look most likely to go. Wes Hoolahan needs to light up the top flight for another year.
ihop
Oh, Newcastle can go too. Not as dull as Sunderland, but close. I hope Norwich stay up.
~British Soul~
Well Norwich and Sunderland do have a game in hand, but yeah I also hope Norwich stay up, but it'll most likely be Newcastle or Sunderland. I would like to see Newcastle lose against Aston Villa, but that doesn't seem likely.
Zauls
The Leicester story is absolutely incredible. I remember following their game against Villa early in the season when they beat us 3-2 coming from 0-2 down with about 15 minutes left. I asked to myself "wow, who are these guys?" Turns out they were legends in the making. On the relegation battle: If Newcastle go down they're pretty screwed given the amount of money they spent in January and the enormous wage bill. Will be difficult for them to manage that. I'd like Norwich to stay up too, it's always nice to see all 3 promoted teams stay up.
