Super Anti-Kaiju War Machine Mecha-Dogoran

LIGHT/Machine/8/?/2000

Cannot be NS/Set

Can be SS from the hand if the opponent has a Kaiju

Kaiju Clause

Once per turn: You can remove 2 Kaiju Counters from anywhere on the field; equip 1 "Kaiju" monster from your hand or Graveyard to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of all "Kaiju" monsters equipped to it by this effect.

Thunder King looks Godly, Mecha-Dogoran is very meh.

Kinda' wish Mecha could also use Kaiju from the field.

Either way, it's effect makes the most sense. Because if you remember the origins that Mecha Godzilla has, it's effect totally matches that.

Am I the only one who thinks Kaiju are unhealthy as funk?

Why? Because 40x Lava Golem.dek lets you not give a funk about the overabundance of protection effects that are commonly present in today's game?

It makes any manner of investment that doesn't BA float kinda meh...like you go -5k for stein, opponent just drops a kaiju

But that's the point.

It's a Deck full of boss monsters, that honestly doesn't give a funk about anything else, all because it wants to exhibit giant monster battles.

Thunder King is HILARIOUS. I may actually give Kaiju a shot now, they look like a lot of fun to play (though they're frustrating to play against, in my experience).

It strikes me now that Kaiju mirror match must be awkward as f*ck, ironically. Gotta be crazy hard to get Kaijus on board, though once it happens I'm sure it's insanity.

Mecha Dogoran for best Kaiju.

I mean, it's the one that'll see the most play, easily. It's a Gamaciel that isn't on a 22/30 body.

You cant put it on your opponent's board without one of the Kaiju spells. That part of the generic Kaiju effects is missing.

It's fantastic in Kaiju dekcs because Slumber and X-Files. It's bad everywhere else for the above reason.

Really all it needs to be good in is its intended deck.

I know it's fine in the intended deck, I said so explicitly. I was informing black that it's literally useless outside it's intended deck unlike gamaciel. Probably because of the fact gamaciel sees so much play.

The fact that kaiju don't care about whatever your opponent has on the field is what makes them amazing. i love the fact that they have that clause because that's essentially what kaiju are in their respective movies, they don't care at all what's nearby, they just show up and wreck sheet.

The mechagodzilla monster is not all that bad in it's own deck, but the equip effect removes counters that you need for your other (better) kaiju monsters, X-files and slumber do make it better somewhat, but it's not more than a 1-off in it's respective deck. i love the art though.

the king gidorah monster (meaning the earlier one was likely mecha gidorah?) is a thunder type, my favorite type, and has an amazing stun effect. 3300 means that there's little, if anything that's going to be a problem for it in battle, and the kaiju clause means it'll still be removing monsters that have too much protection for you to get over. i love it.

but yes. new kaiju make my deck hard.
