NBCer's Rights

This is an issue that isn't a real issue per say, but more of an online one, and it mainly concerns one of my oldest games; Roblox.

I have known Roblox for about 8 years now at time of writing, and over the past few years, there has grown to be much less support for free players, also known as NBCs or NBCers. In the past few years, many changes have been made that distance the gap between paid players (those who pay real money to get ahead in Roblox) and the NBCers, who basically comprise everyone else. Let me explain.

Economically, almost all new items that come out can only be achieved either by the top 1% of robloxians (aka the few filthy rich robloxians and the mods), or by spending a lot of RL cash to buy enough Robux (the online currency used in Roblox) to get it. And even then, the free items are usually just advertizing for products released by third parties outside Roblox. Since Robux can now only be obtained by spending real money to but either Robux or Builders Club (a paid service), and the new items usually cost a lot of it, it is a huge blow to NBCers, who either won't or can't pay up. This is especially true after the removal of Tickets, a second online currency, that was just removed recently. (All players got 10 tickets daily for logging into Roblox, and could convert them into Robux, as well as spend tickets on their own items.)

I believe NBCers have a right to more than what Roblox is currently giving them for free, and a right to have their opinion (some claim to have been banned from or censored on Roblox for speaking out. This dosen't happen to everyone, though.) Discuss.

EDIT: Fixed the title from "NBC Rights", didn't realize that might have been confused with the news station. Also this is my 777th post on post count <3

Most MMOs have much more stuff available to members than to free players. While ROBLOX has been increasingly pushing builder's club in the past few years (the massive powercreep in gears is one of the most obvious signs, along with removal of tix of course), it still has a lot of really fun games that you can play completely for free. I would be able to make an alt account and go on a game like Armoured Patrol or Train Demolition and enjoy it as much as someone who has poured hundreds of real-life cash into memberships and Robux.

That's more than can be said about some MMOs.
