If that monster is an Xyz Monster, also attach its Xyz Materials to this card. Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card, and declare Main Phase 1, Battle Phase, or Main Phase 2; your opponent skips the declared phase during their next turn. You can detach 6 Xyz Materials from this card; skip your opponent's next turn.2400/1200 Card B 2 Level 5 MonstersWhen this monster is Xyz Summoned destroy all other monsters on the field. This monster cannot be destroyed by card effects while it has Xyz Material. During either player's turn you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number" monster that is up to 2 Ranks higher than this card, by using this face-up card you control as the Xyz Material. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to this card also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) You can only use this effect of "Number 51: Nova Garuda" once per turn. Flash Flyer - Sakura
As the time limit expired and this is literally a 0-0 thing, guess I have to tiebreak now [and I know which card belongs to whom]. Card A grabs defeated monsters as Xyz Materials, and if said monster happens to be an Xyz, their mats also become food for this card. From a playing perspective, this is on the level of C9's own "absorb things as Xyz Materials" except not as versatile and requires that you actually kill something. With this card's stats, it'll probably get rid of a few smaller monsters to use for food. To be honest, the "skip the Battle Phase" effect is likely the most damaging to the opponent; cut that off and opponent is forced to go with their Draw / MP1 (no battles = no MP2). That and Main Phase 1; force your opponent to use whatever they have at present. As for the last effect, oh hi Ptolemaeus effect that almost never gets used. Unlike him, this card actually has a decent chance of doing that. In terms of viable Rank 6 decks (and these aren't necessarily meta), Chronomaly / OOPArts, Hieratics and maybe 1-2 other Decks can go into this, or if you really want to be gimmicky with Astral Force (though you only have 86 + Night Papilloperative / Butterfly Assassin to go into it). Suppose RRs can use Soul Shave / Death Double to go into this from their own 'mons, but yeah. Considering how often Xyz are appearing nowadays, this effect feels more abusive than it should be. If it didn't attach the Xyz Materials, I could probably be fine with this card. As-is, you get at least 1 free phase skip or if you kill enough "loaded" Xyz (by this, I mean having mats on them), a full turn skip. To be honest, even if Xyz Monsters just got themselves attached (same like 101/C9), it might've still been problematic, albeit not as much. ----Card B is essentially a limited version of BRD on summon (doesn't blow up backrow and this still survives). But yeah, this is basically a "Numbers"-esque version of Astral Force (well, I guess in a Kyoji Yagumo sort of way; if you read the manga, you'll know what I mean). This card can make up to Rank 6 and 7 stuff, so let's go over the targets it can make.Number 6: Atlanthal/Atlandis [and its corresponding Rank-Up]Number 21: Frozen Lady Justice (although her alternate summon condition and this card's "Rank-Up" wouldn't make much of a difference; you still need to pay an Xyz Mat)Number 25: Focus ForceNumber 72: Shogi RookNumber C5: Chaos Chimera DragonNumber C73: Abyss SupraNumber 39: Utopia BeyondNumber 7: Lucky StraightNumber 11: Big EyeNumber 42: Galaxy TomahawkNumber 74: Master of BladesOut of this list, 11/74 and I guess 39/6 are the most viable from the list. Rest technically exist as options if you really want to run them; would probably depend on what you're trying to do though. If this card gave access to ANY Rank 6 and 7, I would've voted this one down because CDI exists and a bunch of other prevalent R7 stuff. As-is, I have some slight issues about it being a generic Rank-Up for Numbers, but as there aren't that many targets, should be fine. (Admittedly, the Collector Pack is likely to release another new Number besides 45 and they could very well be targeted for this card, but as said cards don't exist at the time of this post [last I checked], they will not be considered) Stat-wise, it is a bit on the high side for a 2-mat Rank 5 (although Armades/Tiras/Zenmaioh do share this card's 2600 ATK; DEF might be a slight issue, but not too bothered about it). ----So let's see...Arcana Force 21 with phase skips or a Number-specific anime Astral Force. For this one, I'll take the latter so card B; in turn, this means that Next Tuesday's card. ----So yeah, where's my voter rep?
