Cyber Angels-CPF1

Recommended Posts

that depends on the amount of support they get in the anime. rituals in general don't often see competitive play, but they might be the next deck to break the mold if they get decent enough archetype support. fairies have a ton of support, and these aren't complete trash, so hopefully they'll make it to tier 2.

Knowing Konami, that probably won't happen. Though should it happen, I'd run it. Were there any other similar cards in the anime?

Well, Alexis is in the anime and one of the revealed episode titles in yugioh arc v goes something like " the machine angels " or something like that which ensures that she will use cyber angels. Also, they are based on the seven gods so that means that konami can possibly make 4 more cyber angels rituals so they have potential and possibility.

Were there any other similar cards in the anime?

in the anime alexis rhodes used cyber petit angel (adds machine angel ritual to hand)

and Ritual sanctuary which is a field spell card which can add a ritual spell card to your hand per turn

if ritual sanctuary comes out with no nerfs (or even with a buff). ritual decks will likely jump at least one tier, and machine angels will have more than enough support (assuming asuka runs anything good in the anime) to make it to at least rogue status. i'm hoping it does, because demise.deck deserves to rise a peg or two.

Add from where? The Graveyard or Deck?

That's pretty potent. Even if it's just within the archetype.

Don't you mean nerfed?

Well, Cyber Petit Angel is a level 2 and thats pretty much all of/its effect. Yeah it can be good but I think that manju is way better than it. Ritual Sanctuary may be good as it is now, but I wouldn't mind getting buffed a little to support oter ritual decks. They dont have overwhelming game breaking effects, especially since Ritual Sanctuary you first need to discard a spell card to activate it. Maybe they can add a OPT clause maybe?

Now, Im just really glad (and sad) that cyber angel ideten got nerfed because her anime effect literally could add ANY spell card to your hand (from graveyard though). Irealy wanted to use the anime combo adding Ritual Weapon to equip it to Bente but o well.

I just tried Cyber Angels in pro and found out some nice combos etc. if anybody cares...

If you open with both Benten and Idaten (plus the ritual spell card) you can make some crazy combos there... especially since they are NOT once per turn. And even more if you draw manjus or Ascending souls, its freaking fun AND consistent!  You summon Idaten by tributing Benten and with that you can add a Ritual Spell card and ANY LIGHT to your hand. Normally in my deck, thanks to this, i can make like 4 Ritual Summons per turn (especially when i draw the manjus).

Good cards that can be added are Photon Sanctuary (this is a MUST card for me, it really helps) , preparation of rites, ascending soul, and Trade-In. The Divine Bird is really cool because if you tribute a monster, you can add Benten to your hand again, allowing you to make a Ritual Summon again (since Idaten searched the ritual spell, benten that got tributed adds another idaten from your deck to your hand and bird adds benten from your graveyard to your hand again, then you summon another idaten by tributing Benten adding a ritual spell and Honest or krysta if you want).   I actually now understand why divine bird is OPT or this would probably be banned).

Though, how often do you draw those hands?

It sounds like fun, but how competitively practical will it turn out to be?

I dunno how similar our builds are but in testing, they can really churn out some ridiculous power.

However, what the deck has in power it lacks in defense.  Their ritual spells' grave effects are helpful in that department, but they do jack squat against non-destruction.  They play out like a combo deck and are thus laughably susceptible to effect negation.  Ultimately, they're kinda like Monarchs.  They can brick really hard, and if you negate their Manju/play starter they can be easily beaten.

Its pretty consisted but depends alot on the fact that your opponent doesn't negate your first move such as a manju or the activation of a ritual/spell card. If they don't then you can practically summon a bunch of rituals. I beated kozmos (thanks to krista) , nekroz (weakened by the balist who doesn't) but it loses hard against a Dark Law and some rougue decks (believe it or not) that have destruction effects. Its a good deck but not tier 0 or 1.

I made two builds and still working on them. One of them is super powerful and can recuperate fast from raigekis or when the opponent blows you up, but lacks protection while the other can survive multiple raigekis and dark holes (even solemn strike WOW).

One is using divine bird and the other build is using Saffira dragon along with its protecting ritual spel card.

Yeah; iffy about a Deck with these cards. Look interesting, but likely little to no competitive use. A shame, too.

Maybe they will see a little, especially since this deck can win against some good decks especially since I can summon 2 or more rituals on a turn with 3K atk each one with al of them being able to inflict piercing damage but common battle traps ruin it like storming mirror force or other non-destruction cards. But its a decent deck and can beat some meta decks very easily... (some)

So I took a look at the numbering of the known cards in the pack to try to make predictions and I'm about 95% certain we're getting Petit Cyber Angel and Ritual Sanctuary with these. There's four spaces between CPF1-JP007 The Blazing Mars and CPF1-JP011 Cyber Angel Benten. Three of those spaces are The Grand Jupiter, The Despair Uranus, and The Suppression Pluto but that leaves CPF1-JP010 which given its placement and the fact that it's right before Benten strongly implies Cyber Petit Angel. CPF1-JP016 is right after Machine Angel Ritual and right before Red Nova but I can't think of any other really relevant standalone 5D's effect monsters that it could be. So it's probably an Asuka card and the most logical would be Ritual Sanctuary.

There's a card called Gear Changer used by Jack in the same episode as Red Nova
