Trebuchet MS
Okay. The "click on the card to generate link" function has been broken for a while. Very few of us have the knowledge to successfully work on the Card Maker's code, if the problem does lie in the code. For the time being, save the card to your own computer, and upload to your own imgur/photobucket/whatever image-sharing account you have.
Narniabeliever
I have done that. The card (so far only one, but more are coming. I'm working on them!) is uploaded to IMGUR, but I don't have an account, so it's just... there...
Trebuchet MS
Uh, excuse me? I don't understand what you mean here. Do you imply you need an account to access the uploaded card? You shouldn't, because all you need is a link to the image.
Narniabeliever
No, no. You said "upload it to your own imgur/photobucket/whatever-image-sharing account you have". I don't HAVE an account on Imgur or Photobucket. I was able to upload the card, but it's just sitting there. It's not saved to any specific IMGUR account. Trebuchet MS
The card may be uploaded to YCM's imgur and might be somewhere out there, but it's a bit too tedious to go out and filter through all uploaded cards to see if it is there, if the card maker is not displaying a link. I am suggesting you go and sign up to any image-sharing site and upload your card image there, by yourself so that you can provide a link to your card. ♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪
I think an account is optional, since uploading to Imgur can be done directly without an account, for a quick post, the downside is the image will be lost, buried by hundreds of other images...... Narniabeliever
Aye. Fortunately, I only need the image once -- to post it here to show. It can be lost after that if it likes! Arctic55
I made an imgur account the other day when I realized the IMGUR upload hasn't worked for almost 2 weeks. I have many YGO cards just floating in Imgur not in an account. XD
Yuuji Kazami
Whenever I try to upload an image, the box appears and I put the URL in, but then it will not let me click "ok" or "cancel". Can you fix this?(Copy and pasted from the other post) Pay close attention to the link. It's most likely due to some sort of overlooked minor mistake. This example may be more clear for newer members. Make sure you have the .jpg or .jpeg at the end of your imgur link. Take away the space and replace the ) with ] in the example link above would produce the following image. No, no. You said "upload it to your own imgur/photobucket/whatever-image-sharing account you have". I don't HAVE an account on Imgur or Photobucket. I was able to upload the card, but it's just sitting there. It's not saved to any specific IMGUR account. Also, for this, if it's just sitting there, copy and paste the link. The link should be similar to the example I had above. After getting the code in, just click post and see what happens. No buttons pop up; the website reads the code automatically when you post. Narniabeliever
You do know that the section where you write things does not allow Copy and Paste, right? Trebuchet MS
If somehow you cannot copy-and-paste into your post, this is a problem associated with the client or computer. I personally have no trouble with copy-paste on my own laptop, but university computers are a little dodgy about where my copy-pasted content can go.
