Power Armour
A rather sad series of books following three children, Klaus, Violet and Sunny as they desperately try to find normal lives and escape the clutches of the nefarious Count Olaf following the destruction of their house and the death of their parents. Grim, satisfying and a brilliant conclusion that has been weaved in and out of real life, making for a very believable world where the adults are oblivious to everything that goes on, and the children are not believed because 'They're just kids, what do they know?'. I own 7 of the 13 books that have been released, and I have read all 13 over the years at one point or another. Anyone else have experience with this series? Merci
Yep, that's right. And the guy who plays Barnie in HIMYM is going to be playing Count Olaf... I had my misgivings at first since the movie Olaf was pretty much perfect, but I'm actually fine with this now. I'm sure he'll do brilliantly. Ahhh, in general, I just love this series~
