I have a general dislike for most of the Republican candidates in this race, especially Cruz so consider him out. He's said a lot of things during this election that I don't particularly agree with, and for certain views [yes, I hate him]. Trump is controversial as hell though, and I'd rather not have a president who's going to screw our relationships with other countries. He does have a point though about certain issues, but how he goes about implementing things is another story.

Clinton has experience dealing with the Middle East and other foreign affairs from her stint as the Secretary of State, so she more/less has a general idea of what's going on. I wasn't around when her husband was president (or rather, I don't remember since I was still pre-K) so not sure how he did things. According to that opinion thing (the one that checks which candidates share your opinions), she and Sanders topped the list.

Bernie appeals to younger voters though (especially with the lowered cost of college because yeah, it's not getting any cheaper). If I went to the primaries two weeks ago, I probably would've voted for him. (Though, he did fine in Hawai'i anyway)

Kasich and Rubio (along with Carson) were the only Republican candidates who didn't piss me off during the campaign and were more/less civil. I have nothing against Republicans in general (these guys are fine), but it's the frontrunners who draw ire [well Cruz anyway].

For YCM fad reasons, probably would've voted Bandit Keith, BUT that only exists here.

To be pretty honest, I don't have a political preference, but I suppose my feelings about stuff lies more on the Democrat side.

Generally I'm more supportive of the democratic side, because while they are on a "side" they are generally more centrist than republicans, though I have disdain for the idea of political parties and by extension these parties and all they stand for, but that's neither here nor there.

What intrigues me about this presidential race is Trump. Obviously the policy he is preaching is suuuuper right wing and those ideals need to be taken into a field and shot (though so does suuuuper left wing idealism but again, not relevant atm) but, and this may just me being ignorant or wanting to see more good in people than I do in their words, his behavior doesn't seem to scream to me that he's meaning what he's saying. I don't think he's this insane. He runs a very successful company that employs I-don't-even-know how many people and I would bet that his company doesn't turn away the people that Trump is saying he is against. I think he's lying about what his political agenda is and what his policies would be to win the support of a very troubled, angry, and currently large group of the population.

I'm not saying I support that and I definitely won't be voting for him whether I'm right or not, but I think he would be a very different kind of man were he elected into office.
