Yogg-Saron
Anyone here pick it up yet? General discussion thread for it. Loving the game so far. The variety of guns and unlockables really is what keeps me playing, and the resemblance to Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne. Here are some helpful hints (Spoilers most likely. You were warned!) [spoiler=Enter The Gungeon Tips (Spoilers!)]- If you use a blank on a cracked wall in the Tutorial Gungeon you can get two free items. The cracked wall is in the leftmost room after the guide lets you explore freely! - I would advise not rushing the elevator Bullet Man and fixing the elevator. Transports you directly to floor 3 or 4 I believe so if you aren't very well acquainted with the game, there is no rush. - Table Tech Money is widely considered to be the worst Table Tech because it flips all tables in the room, weakening other Table Techs, so generally it is advised not to pick it up. But if you want a little extra Money flow, go at it! - Anytime you see a different colored lantern on walls (green, purple, blue, etc) that means there is a special room through the hallway next to it. Be it a Cell Room, Shooting Gallery, or Statue room. Be sure to explore them! - Save your hegemony credits! Save up for passives first that are more guaranteed to help you, unlike a gun you may rarely or never come across. Then rack up on the guns! This will buff your characters more often as there will be more passive items in the item pool. - Explore every inch of the Gungeon! While exploring you may run into a familiar face! He looks like Link from The Legend of Zelda and he will help you out if you map out the entire floor! This usually nets you a good prize for doing basically what you should have been doing in the first place! - DISCLAIMER: Before you do this, be sure to explore the floor fully and kill the boss!Shoot out fireplaces with guns that have water effects! Say you have the Mega Douser and a fireplace on the floor. Shoot out the fireplace and go to the back of it until you hit a wall. Press 'E' and you will hear a distinct bell! Now if you look on your map (if the floor has been explored enough) and you will see the outline of a room! It won't have a pink '?' beside it so be sure to go there! Once in that room you will need 2 keys (save up!). Fall in the trap door and you will come to a new floor! Not going to spoil what is at the end! See for yourself! Yogg-Saron
Finally got around to floor 4. The game gets extremely tough! Put about 15 hours in so far. Treadnaught is definitely the hardest boss I have encountered thus far.
Yogg-Saron
Added a good few helpful tips and tricks to the topic post. Be warned there may be spoilers contained within! I still have yet to defeat the floor 3 boss Treadnaught! I can defeat Canonbalrog fairly easily but that tank is on another level!
