"the effects of that target are negated as long as this card remains face-up." so no. read next time please. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dragulas Posted April 5, 2016 Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 Does this stop floaters? It doesn't say it negates its effects only on the field...It only negates their effects while on the field, both 45 and the target Although you technically can but only if 2 copies (of the floater) are on the field, so its a utopic scenario Target 1 with this and destroy the other, since the target still face up it other copies cannot activate their effects Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
IQuitDolphin Posted April 5, 2016 Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 Yeah, as long as Logos is on the field, it never said the other card had to be on the field... It says "that target" which means "that face-up card on the field". Should've explained it more clearly. Either way though, it won't stop floater effects unless you explicitly word it to negate in the Graveyard as well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
玄魔の王 Posted April 5, 2016 Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 It's not a bad option, for sure, but it doesn't change the flaw that the two lowest ranks suffer from; A lack of good cards to make.That's not the biggest issue for those Ranks. It afflicts the 2 highest Ranks much more than the lower ones. The problem with Rank 2 is a lack of decks that can MAKE Rank 2s consistently. So long as the target remains on the field of course.Which is I think was the point. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Premier Alexander Romanov Posted April 5, 2016 Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 Aren't there several decks that can get out Rank 2s consistently, like Burgesstomas and Ojamas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The problem is that ,in addition to them not being a modern deck, the R2s aren't worth it, even as techs. Even if you COULD make them regularly enough... Why would you? They're not very good, overall. Also Burgesstoma. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vla1ne Posted April 6, 2016 Report Share Posted April 6, 2016 I've faced and run a couple R2 decks recently (ojamas and frogs respectively) and i can't really think of anything this card adds that those decks don't already do. it negates, but really frogs have things like Ohfish! and unifrog, that hit more relevant things, and ojama's don't need it because if they drop village (which is pretty much their core card), he drops to 0, making him useless in the offensive and pointless on the defensive (even Dark mist can grow bigger than him in that case). i know nothing of burgesstoma though, so he might be worth running there. the art is amazing though, so points there. Ryusei the Morning Star Posted April 26, 2016 Report Share Posted April 26, 2016 Apologies for bumping this topic, but I was playing vs Majespecter today and I thought of something that could pan out. If you hit a pendulum monster either as a scale or as a monster, you would in effect be shutting off the other aspect as well. Granted this isn't as relevant with Luster back at 1, but just seemed intriguing. The card would honestly be so much better if it was a quick effect Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Snatch Steal Posted April 26, 2016 Report Share Posted April 26, 2016 Love almost everything about this card ( o3o)Level 2s need more love, since their only good options are Centaurea and Gachi Gachi (Maybe Cat Shark or Armored , idk). Sadly, it's not a quick effect, so that's a shame. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted April 26, 2016 Report Share Posted April 26, 2016 Rank 2 should get a Break Sword so that you can target one of your Burgesstoma monsters and have it be unaffected :> OT: I feel that is card is worth it as a 1-of in Burgesstomas, because extradeck space usually isn't very tight.
