Welp I know I need to get back into the spirit of spriting so what better way to do it than a sprite fight?

 

First come first served

 

Challenger's choice of restrictions or not or w/e

 

Choose a water and a fire type, and make a ground type out of them

 

Deadline is 72 hours after acceptance

Mostly I found 1 to have the most clever usage of different Pokemon, whereas the second wasn't bad but also felt a little boring in comparison.

Though I almost voted 2 because it looks more Ground than the other.

I voted for the second because it resembles a ground type better in my opinion, it used a water and fire type to create a sensible and cool looking ground type.

I feel like the colour scheme lets the first one down, it doesnt look realistic or really like a ground type imo, it was clever though.

2 gmv, the composition is actually really good, especially the face area. 

 

1 is cool too, I like the tail detail, the body just needs shading as it looks too flat as is.
