This is honestly the correct shops hit. A ton of people complain about shop, but since the deck doesn't use as much power as nearly everything else, 3 copies of shop is what keeps it afloat. The previous chalice hit along with this make the deck a lot less oppressive, while remaining playable. I like it.

What are we thinking will replace the eye in tron decks? Sanctum of Ugin was brought up but I don't think that's going to be very effective at all due to its search being reliant on casting one of its search targets anyway; doesn't provide inevitably like the eye. Obviously we won't have something as good replacing it, but it still needs to substitute somewhat well.

Let's get something straight, since my lack of filter means that I can't comment of statuses. Kano is actually just not knowing anything that is going on, anyways.

Control decks are still going to be as played as they have always been, with a height due to the bans, but nothing is going to stick as these cards don't fix Control, but help it enough to give it some more staying power than what usually exists. The Eye hit is great for control, as that is the one card that gives Tron the ability to play a game long enough with 4 Sylvan Scrying and 4 Expedition map, and enough dig. But now, Tron is going to be the aggressive deck while the control decks are going to have the answers. Jund/Junk enjoy this hit enough as well, but not as much as counterspell decks. And the force play to constantly attack is less of a need from Control decks. There is also nothing that fills this spot, and there is no need to replace a card. Tron is still going to be a deck, and Eye wasn't even a card that was used in any matchup except what was determined to be grindy.

The reason to play UW Tron over GR is because it goes bigger, and has a better long game, no matter what. The combo helps to filter against Burn/Infect/Affinity, which all Tron decks have had problems with, but going UW also means that you have better game against Control, even if UW Tron loves to durdle around. That is where it falters, and always has to answer threats but never present threats. Tron is going to be okay, but the variety of decks now is going to improve due to what the Thopter/Sword combo means for Tron/Controls decks. GR Tron is literally just as good as it used to be, which is still going to be sheet anyways.

The Ancestral Vision means that Processor Eldrazi is going to be a good deck, as they are lower to the ground and have more targets from most decks. But it still isn't that great of a card since it is still slow. Keep a look out for Faeries, because the deck might suck but it is now at 100% like the days of when it was in Standard/Extended. Tron is going to be the aggressor more often now than not, which means that it doesn't have inevitability as much and a lot of its package for the late game dies out.

I can write more about this, but most of it will be brewing and playing around with UWx Control/Tezzerator/Thopter Tokens.

Have anything to incorporate? You can't replace a card like Eye in a proper sense, you only replace the 1/75 spot it filled, not the use of the card.

That's literally what I ended up saying I concluded in the status bar which you appeared to imply is what you were replying to, not my post here which was made beforehand.

There was a status? I just want to complain that I can't respond to statuses. I was totally talking about your response here.

Oh ok. Yeah myself and then Rai had statuses a while after I posted that comment, which was at the beginning of my search for a replacement for Eye. I/we ended up with the conclusion that there isn't an actual substitute for Eye so we need to just find something to make the deck 60 again.

At the moment I've just opted to put a second Relic of Progenitus in mine, hoping it'll put in work since blue decks and by extension Snappy will likely see more play at least in the short run. Still looking for other options though.

Play some Eldrazi. I hear that they are pretty good. Thought-Knot Seer seems spectacular. That is where I see Tron going, more psuedo-Eldrazi.

I've got a good number of Eldrazi going. I could take out my techs for TKS but they haven't been failed me as of yet. And I do have high hopes for Relic.

Blight Herder can put 7 power on board while blanking a suspended visions. Seems pretty damn sweet?

Yes but Blight Herder needs to process 2 cards, so unless they have 2 suspended visions or I already hit something with Karn in addition, it likely wont be going off suepr often. Probably not going to be consistent enough.

Karn, or Relic of Progenitus. Of course, if you are only running 1 relic, that would cause issues.
