It works, so far anyway. Couple of cards are a bit iffy but wanted to try them, ie Red Carpet and Scarlet Security. Dragon's Bind too for that Stardust Spark combination. Fairly pointless when you're only running 1 because at that point I may as well run Vanity's but shut up I only realised that as I type now. It's in the earlier stages.

I know it's not as flavorful, but between Scapeghost and the ease of shitting out 8s, not to mention the ease of summoning Tyrant and having multiple tuners, it works out very well for the purpose.

But me Dark Law. Me Diamond Dude. I like being able use cards I like along with making the things.                                             

 

But mainly playing Shiranui would require learning things and nyeh. Also do you not just spam Omegas so this'd be kind of branching off for the sake of it.

Nah, very early was pure Omega spam. Very quickly shifted to Level 8 Toolbox + stuff.

 

You can sheet out 8s no issue, especially once Sword/Sage is setup. One omega then RDA shenanigans is a go.

Is the whole HERO/Mask stuff necessary?
I mean, wouldn't it be more consistent to have, I don't know, more cards that help you get out RDA and its evolutions?

Gotta mix all them engines though. Beyond that there is no answer, I just like mixing engines. Dumping Mist to search Mali to D-Draw is nice. And also didn't want to fully devote to RDA because then it'd be a bit too linear for my liking.

I would drop security for another Grepher. It honestly isn't an amazing card, even with scarlight. Most backrow would either be dead anyway (twitwi) or would have negated the summon of Scarlight. If it was searchable, it would be another story entirely, but that just ain't the way it is.

What would you suggest if I don't want to use the mixed engine, but just...you know...more along the lines of Resonators and RDAs?

I really wouldn't know. As long as you have an engine that can make 8s and something like Synkron that you can just drop to ladder you can do whatever.
