Astro Dude
Trials and Tribulations Bridge to the Turnabout. Maybe the anime will have Dahlia's soul be pulled in by shadowy hands. Heck, give a little animation to Ron, Terry and Furio. Maybe for season 2 or 3. We'll have to see.
Shradow
Oh wow, this new episode was really good, I think. For example, the scenes where Nick was talking to White seemed much more impactful than in the games. Also, I love that they gave White gratuitous Engrish, it's perfect. That said, the pacing is a bit too fast for my liking, though, they skipped a lot of stuff such as the bellboy's testimony and DL-6 hints. It hasn't hurt the story yet, though. ~British Soul~
After the first two episodes, I would like to say: THANK funk that the subbers used the localised names for the characters in this episode.
Shradow
Where I watched it the localized episodes have been used since last episode as well.
Trebuchet MS
Also, I love that they gave White gratuitous Engrish, it's perfect.Redd White did originally use gratuitous Engrish. The localization changed it to gratuitous Spanish and added some false eloquence. So "WATCHANEEEEEEEEEEM" became "FURNISH ME WITH THE TITLE OF YOUR PERSONAGE"
Astro Dude
Soooo...... Episode 4 will be the big confession. If you played the first game this would not be a big surprise. What is a surprise is Phoenix in jail in place of Maya. Makes you wonder, will episode 5 be the Will Power case or the Miles Edgeworth case? Trebuchet MS
If they want to cover up to the main plot in JFA in 12 episodes, the next case will likely jump to 1-4. If they have 24 episodes to work with, then there should be enough space to adapt all the cases. Even 2-3.
Astro Dude
Yeah. Methinks, the Will Power case should be an OVA, as well as Rise from the Ashes.
Shradow
I'd actually heard that the Will Powers case was being adapted on schedule, not sure how true it is though.
Astro Dude
My guess is the Will Powers case will be 2 episodes long. The Miles Edgeworth trial will be 3 episodes, and Rise from the Ashes would also be three episodes long.
Trebuchet MS
Feels pleasing to hear their version of the Steel Samurai theme. Really has that retro TV feel.
Shradow
*sees internet people who haven't played the games question the supernatural aspect* Oh, they have no idea.
Astro Dude
Okay, Will Powers is next. Then Miles, and methinks Rise from the Ashes as an OVA.
Catman25
Meh I could definitely do without the Steel Samurai case
Shradow
There was no way they were skipping it, it gives Edgeworth some good character development and introduces some recurring characters.
Progenitor
Meh I could definitely do without the Steel Samurai caseI actually really like that one though Tbh though the show has been super meh so far. If it wasn't the fact that I'm an AA fan I don't think i would be into the series at all. I'm barely into it as it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

IQuitDolphin
I've been thinking about watching this, but is it any good? I mean, you should if you haven't played the game, that way you don't get spoiled that Edgeworth was-*shot*
Trebuchet MS
I've been thinking about watching this, but is it any good? It's a pretty faithful adaptation of the video game, although it truncates a few things due to an understandable limit on the amount of content it can put in. Animation's a little mediocre, so it's not the place to look for stunning visuals. Well, a good video game adaptation to me is a faithful adaptation, unless you're adapting something with little to no plot to begin with.
Shradow
The adaption is faithful, by that I mean the events it shows are accurate to the games. A lot is cut, though, and combined with the lackluster art and music I feel like it lacks the impact the games have. For me, hearing "OBJECTION" and getting to the Pursuit theme in an Ace Attorney game is one of the hypest things I've ever done in any game series, but we're two cases down and this show hasn't really made me super excited like the games did. I'd give it a 6.5/10.
Rapidfire
I'll give it a shot, I'll also play the game sometime soon.
