Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel Movie announced

Old news, however we've gotten something recently from AnimeJapan. Yesterday ufotable announced that the adaptation will be split into 3 parts, and the first one will be appearing sometime in 2017. Now, while no confirmation has been made on the length on the film, the director had originally expressed doing one giant 9-hour movie, so these movies may end up being 3 hours each, which would be a treat.

I was super glad when this news came out. I was afraid of how everything would fit with just a movie when things were first announced, but with 3 movies hopefully it should be fine.

I'm a little doubtful whether 9 hours is too excessive or not but since that's not confirmed for the 3-parter I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

 

A while ago I was thinking 2 movies was perfect for HF, but with 3 I don't remember if the route can be split as perfectly or not.

it can be done, the first might cover up to sabers loss, the second split will probably be after 9 lives. I can't remember if those are far enough apart, but hopefully they go for quality over quantity. the movies might not all be 3 hours long, but at least 2 of them likely will be.
