ATK 2400
DEF 500
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
The (2) effect of “Coral Dragon” can only be used once per turn.
(1) Once per turn: You can discard a card, then target a card your opponent controls; destroy that target.
(2) If this Synchro Summoned card is sent to the Graveyard: Draw 1 card.

Is it just me or does the art look a lot like an older tatsunoko?

apart from that, it looks like it'll be a pretty strong addition to synchro deck ladders.

That's a really good point actually. It really does look like Tatsunoko.

I mean, it's supposed to be a Sea Dragon wehre Tatsunoko is a Sea Horse. That seemed pretty clear.

Anyway... If you amass a Level 2 and a Level 1 (one tuner, one non) and some way to field a Level 3 Tuner (E-Tele), you go Quasar, because Goyo Defender exists.

The worst part is that this is probably not as good as Red Wyvern, HTS Psyhemuth, Nothung, Metaphys Horus, and maybe even Vulcan. It seems solid, but idk, it feels like the type of card that isn't as good as what we have.

at least there will be no more hurr durr virgil is gut bcuz float

Is it weird the more I look at this card the more I like it? The stats are solid, the the attribute/typing combo is cool, it is a Synchro-tuner and it can pop lesser threats and net a draw. This is just a really solid and good card.

Next they'll be doing the an Accel Synchro version which requires 2 WATER Synchro-Tuners.

This seems really good. It's the first Level 6 Synchro Tuner for a start. It is able to pop threatening cards that would hinder your Synchro laddering/Ultimaya Tzolkin plays, and when you do use it for that, you get a draw. For use as a level 6 Synchro option, there is a lot of other good competition out there, but it still seems like a good card overall, and exceptional in Synchro laddering or Ultimaya Tzolkin strategies.

It allows my Psychic deck to get out Ultimaya pretty easily which is cool.

On the other hand, this looks like the ideal climbing synchro for those kind of decks. Its removal is weak, but being a tuner and refunding itself if you climb with it gives it a value that would exceed some of those synchros in that condition.

Granted, the big issue is I'm not sure in what kind of deck does it apply. It's all theory-oh at the moment. While the other's a nontuner, I can see this fulfilling a better role in climbing than Stardust Charge, simply because while its refund is slower, it actually have a pretty decent body and effect before being used to climb.

though the difference is minimal.

Charge can erode pendulum spam walls, this really can't :(

Guess it comes down to, do you want spot removal or a discard outlet (this) or do you wanna sweep (charge)

Alternatively, it boils down to which one do you see more. If you see a lot of pendulum walls, then Charge.

Anything low atk TBH, eating through a wall of Yang Zing (lol relevant) or BA Floats (more so) can be nice.

But yeah, agree for laddering purposes this tends to be a bit better. Curious to see if Atlantean will replace Dewloren for this however

It's a godsend for Dark Heroes however. You can discard Mali, pop, summon Mali, make ultimaya, summon 2nd Mali, set MC. End

Edit: Oh wow, it doesn't even miss timing.

Sync (-1)+Eff (+0)+Mali (+1)+Ultimaya (-1)+Draw(+1)+Ultimaya Summon(+1)+Mali Summon(+1)

Neat +2 there. Right up till you draw mali#3 off Coral

Wyrm-Type is implied to be more mythological/primordial/etc, Tatsu is implied a younger version; Basically This bring a Dragon is pretty clever in its own right, because it's evolving from a seemingly nonexistent thing into more of a real shape.

And by the looks of things... It's next form is likely to be Sea-Serpent-Type.
