I think it's pretty dang funny and true, and it's really hard to be offended by it if you've watched half of an MLK documentary. 

I mean, really, is it not true?

 

But anyway, most white people would be offended by this, particularly those in the comments section (despite how they try to say they're not), and it's kind of sad funny, I think. After all, most of it was either 1). A joke or 2). A misunderstanding as far as some white people are concerned. I myself am white as a sheet, yet it's still well coordinated to me.

 

Certainly not all white people are racist/follow these stereotypes, but the reason the stereotypes exist is because there are people who ARE like that, and even if we have something in common with them, we still are not them; however, generalizing probably gives closure, and if you're offended, there's this big red "X" at the top of your web browser, and you're welcome to press it.

"Reverse racism" shouldn't even exist as a term. But anyway, a reason these annoy people is Buzzfeed have gone and done X Questions Black/Asian/Native American/white people have for white people but not done anything with questions directed at any other race. They're not offensive or anything in themselves but if they want to do this whole throwing around stereotype thing it should be both ways.

I don't want to spam but I legit read that as Ritz Cracker and I was wondering what was racist about not liking them.

 

Don't people refer to the Ritz Carlton as a super expensive hotel or something, and aren't Ritz Crackers mildly inspired by the Ritz Carlton, and aren't white people stigmatized to be rich?

 

Also they're about the same color as a white person who lives near the beach.

"Cracker", for the record, does not mean the salted, crunchy and ofttimes white snack. 

 

It refers to a person who cracks the whip - a whip-cracker if you will - a reference to overseers during slavery. In America, there exists a certain number of people who through no great coincidence happen to be white that have inherited profits from slavery, because, y'know, reparations never happened. Hence, "f*** that rich cracker".

It gets worse, Buzzfeed made an article claiming that there were certain things in gaming that straight white males could not understand. Obviously this pissed off a lot of straight white male gamers:

Buzzfeed is known for race-baiting, ironically people like them accuse straight white men of race-baiting. Their recommended articles on the sidebar of the Buzzfeed article proves this.

 

Is this racist? No. Is this ignorant? Yes. Is this motivated by racial/sexual orientation ''social justice'' for the point of sensationalizing some obscure non-existent issue? Definitely.
