Tourmaline
I took a lot of time to think of this one. I was originally going to make another feminine splice with Vespiquen and Lilligant, but I abandoned that idea soon after. I think this is more interesting for now. Its idea is that it uses the shells of unconscious/inactive Golurks as a shell for itself. It think the primal appearance fits with the idea that Golurk is an older species of Pokemon, so it would be a rare predator to something that would otherwise not be prey. It also has a pretty vicious and horrific appearance. That it looks like an abomination is to reinforce the primal/predator aspect, of course. Here. Instead of giving it a companion like my last piece's butler, I chose to make a would-be shiny of itself. The shiny color scheme turns it from a plant into an ice-type Pokemon, meaning that this creature has SE STAB against Golurk either way (this was intended). Interestingly, it seems like, if one found a shiny of this species, then the Golurk it resides in would also be shiny.
Smear
Looks okay. Arms are too perfectly symmetrical and very out of proportion. Other than that it's pretty damn dope. I like the theme you've gone for.

I like the theme you've gone for.The symmetrical arms were a fault I knowingly condoned. I actually originally intended for the arms to be in different positions with ome bent much more than the other, but sometimes, when trying to rotate something on Paint, most of the part disappears until I reverse the rotation. If you know how to fix this, I would fix this sprite and repost it as it was intended to look.

MiracleGhost47
This has a lot of creativity to it. You can improve it by fixing the shading. When it comes to pokemon, the light source always comes from the upper left. To be specific, the golurk park and the right carnovine head needs to be reshaded. You should look at other pokemon sprites to get an idea of how to shade them properly. :
Tourmaline
Thank you for the advice. Before I fix Carnivine's head's shading, I want to move the arms so that they are no longer symmetrical. I wasn't sure if I should add mord weight to the middle third of the sprite, since there's a lot of commotion in its extremities.
MiracleGhost47
If I were you, I would try it. See what you get better results with. Trial and error is a very important part of spriting (and art in general). Just try to make sure details don't get overlapped too much.
Tourmaline
Are you perhaps aware of how to rotate the heads in Paint without half the parts disappearing?
Toffee.
Are you perhaps aware of how to rotate the heads in Paint without half the parts disappearing?that's just some goof that the latest(or whatever) version of Paint does. It's just visually showing it being cut in half, when in reality it's not. If you rotate it, and you see that half of it is gone, and it's still selected, just hit cop then paste; It's still all there.
MiracleGhost47
Yeah, what Wanbee said. I've had the problem before. One of the reasons a lot of artists hate Paint is that it commonly glitches. The glitches can easily be worked around if you know what you're doing, though. Tourmaline
Wow. Thank both of you for the help. I'll apply the new knowledge when I can next. Though, until then, I would love to hear other people's thoughts on this, or if prior commenters want to add more to their thoughts.
