Maxesmose
There are a lot of things that bug me about DP...The fact that you are disconnected after failing to connect to your Opponent.People using OP decks and refusing to fix them (Basically everyone that is just starting out).Deck editor insisting that the player i'm searching for doesn't exist. Not being able to make public cards that I own Private. Those things are minor issues that I honestly think won't be addressed anytime soon. I was wondering if anyone else has DP Pet Peeves? Flash Flyer - Sakura
Some of my issues with DP is partly linked to the requirements for Silverlight (not available on Linux [which I use], and the equivalent for it sometimes breaks or flat-out doesn't work) and yes, the disconnections at times. I think a few others have problems with the server being down at times, especially when entire formats rely on it for testing purposes and what-not. Though in that regard, the downtimes can't be helped (especially since sea is the only guy running it for now). ----As for the OP deck part, most of us will fix the Deck if needed (but otherwise, it may be to just check the Deck's capabilities in its current form and whether/not it indeed needs to be toned down). That part lies with the player, and if not in a sanctioned format, we have no control over what kinds of cards you use.
CoolArctic1
Well my pet peeve is the XYZ mechanic. Its just really buggy. When you go to XYZ you can only set it on one of the monsters then when you drag it to the second one it messes up and puts the XYZ in the middle of the 2 XYZ material. That and its hard to separate them once that happens.Honestly its really annoying to deal with.

As someone that plays a deck that requires having the right cards in the graveyard at the right time, this just comes off as annoying. Especially since the issue can be solved easily. asterr259
Someone just getting on and making OP cards, public or private, was one of my greatest fears when DP was introduced and why I don't necessarily promote it to just anyone. There's no real way to say "Hey, that deck is broken, go fix it and make it balanced" because they can really just be saying "Hey, I lost to your deck, go make it much weaker so i can handle it". nihtay123
I'm a new user and entered the duel portal only to see two duels going on where the players have cards with "Cards cannot be activated in response to this card's activation". What the eff man
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Hmm, you must've came in at a wrong time (or it was intentional). But really, that's why there's something called playtesting.
and1dodger
Sometimes the Spell & Trap cards would flips face-down when it's sent to the graveyard. I would have to banish it then return it to the grave so it would flip back face-up, it's a little tedious. Hmm so I understand Seattle is busy at times and appreciates his efforts but I hope some of these minor issues can be addressed in the future :
Arctic55
One of my pet peeves, is when I take measures to make my cards NOT broken or OP, and because I played my cards right and totally owned someone using a specific card as the MVP, they claim that MVP is broken/OP and needs to be further restricted. My most recent example, I was using my old CLASH deck, to playtest the new cards. I had Dark Dimension in the pendulum zone, which basically, once per turn, during either player's turn, I can negate 1 card effect, but I have to discard a CLASH card (at least I think it is archetype specific). Anyways, I used that to shut down two of his responses that would have wiped the field (the spell that kills all enemy monsters, which I forget the name, and mirror force). So, I shut down his effects, but on the other hand, he then had a hand advantage of 4-6 cards in his hand (depending on when) vs my 0-1 (cause of draw). That gives him a chance to play combos, and all he has to do is force me to use my Pendulum effect (assuming I had a card in my hand), and he could have easily overcome me (since I only had 1700 ATK monsters on the field). And he used the field wipe cards separately with no follow up combo... so he essentially wasted them, and that was a mistake on his part.
JoshForever
I know the feeling Artic55. When I was making a card on Duel Portal, it effect allows me to negate an opponent card or effect by banishing 1 card from my hand and banish it. They say it should have a once per turn effect. At times, I understand what they mean. But then again, I made the card effect like that when thinking of my past duels. Whenever I duel, I always end up having no cards in my hand. So I thought: "What if I made the use of her effect limited to my hand? I generally run out of cards anyway, so her effect won't be OP. especially if I don't want to lose any cards that I need." The reason I wanted an Infernity deck is because I always run out of cards in my hand and they work well with having no hand. (sorry if I am necrobumping, I just came across this post.)
