VCR_CAT
http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2016/03/americans-move-to-canada-trump/ The gist: A recent survey by Vox shows that 28% of Americans say they'll move to Canada if Trump wins. Keeping in mind that these are initial reactions and that I highly doubt even half of those people will follow through with this statement considering that sheer hurdles needed to jump through to fully immigrate from even the States to Canada, I find this an extreme over-reaction. As poor of a candidate that I believe Trump to be, even if he won presidency I highly doubt the negative impacts on the nation will be anywhere near as bad as many people will make them out to be. Sure, I don't expect him to be good president on many fronts, but the chances of the him bringing stuff down the way many people claim he will. It sounds more like an extreme over-reaction to an incredibly unlikely scenario than anything. THAT SAID, if a crapton of Americans DID do this, I'm pretty well against it. Ryusei the Morning Star
People were saying they would secede if Obama got elected...never saw that happen. Personally I'm fine with a mass exodus of attention whores and political idiots who don't realize that the president is pretty powerless if Congress wants to stop him Maybe the national IQ will rise

mido9
If trump wins, im sure many Germans tired or scared of Muslims, or British tired of high taxation, or legal Muslims who don't want to be lumped with their masses would come into america, too. Just swap places, see who comes out better, neo-right-wing America or socialist Europe.
epicmemesbro
That may not be a good idea. I heard Canada had its own billionaire that thought about running for PM. He even happens to be a reality TV star. Hmmm or maybe I'm drawing parallels to soon, eh?

epicmemesbro
If one is really serious about it, they would be at odds with transferring and settling there. I personally would find it just as bad to live on a country who has overdosed on the blue pill. I suppose it would help if you had dual citizenship, but it might take a while to adjust to the new country if you haven't really been there. I have dual citizenship myself but never left the country. Instead of being afraid of the guy who just has problems being polite, can we instead be terrified of the Texan traglodtye who wants to start ANOTHER war in the Middle East?Trump openly said he would be willing to fight Militants in the middle east for their petroleum.
