The best +0 spell engine I can think of is the good old Bamboo Library of Endymion.  Library has the bonus of increasing the effective net advantage of 3 spells by +1, so you can run -1s in combination to maintain the +0.  That might be too many cards for you to run as a supplementary engine however.

 

What is your end goal with this?

Yeah, it seems very heavy for a supplementary engine.

 

Looking at what I've got, I'm thinking possibly synchro goodstuff.dek or Chaos. Quite possibly both.

 

Stellar can do that. I forget who but someone made a goodstuff.dek with a bunch of r4 engines, like fire fist and traptrix and tellars. Was it black?

That is a thought...

 

Adding a decent number of Tellars might mean I'll have to replace Reasoning with other spells (not that it's a bad thing). The bigger issue is not having enough extra deck space for Nordens, Synch 5/7/8 and Rank 4s...

Finally got around to actually sitting and finishing this deck.  The S-Quantums make very nice non-tuner fodder with their on summon and graveyard effects plus they give me additional levels for Reasoning.

 

From my initial testing so far:

  • Shuffle Reborn is really versatile though I'm considering cutting it down to 2.
  • The draws off of Cupidity haven't disappointed yet.
  • All Synchros so far except Leo have been accessible through regular play.
  • Zephyr and Birdman each open up some very useful doors, especially in conjunction with Angmarl.

 

I haven't gone up against real high-level decks (or pendulum decks) so far, and certain testing questions remain:

  • MST vs. Twin Twister
  • Gorz vs. Traps
  • Addition of R4s
