Yuuji Kazami
Haven't seen one of these in this thread yet, so: Like the topic stated otherwise, discuss/post your favourite song(s) that can be any of the following: -Anime Openings/Endings (English Covers/Japanese Covers are allowed)-Anime OST (English Covers/Japanese Covers are allowed)-Vocaloid (Preferably Utaite-sung or a good cover, although original is fine too) Keep in mind, these are SONGS only, like with lyrics. Sorry for anyone who wanted to post theme music. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ To start us off, here's one opening I really liked. Annica by Hitomi Harada, and the first opening of Unbreakable Machine Doll: The lyrics (translated) were really good, and it had an interesting key change when going to the chorus. Yuuji Kazami
Day 2: Since nobody has posted in this thread yet, I guess I'll just post another song then. One song a day. =/ Karneval Opening 1: Henai no Rondo Really interesting song because the melody transitions between major and minor throughout the song, and it sounds good. This is very unusual as Major and Minor melodies do not usually mix so well. If it's really hard to tell, pay attention to the chorus, especially near the end of it. Yuuji Kazami
Day 3: Yay, another poster, lol. XD Hmm, this one is also rather powerful, for anyone who watched Akame Ga Kiru. A little slow in the beginning, but it gets really epic later. The name is Le chant be Roma. It gets really heart-pounding in the end, since it gives off a supernatural/adventure/action/emotional melody. Really interesting song, and if you get really, really bored, just skip to about 2:40 of the song.

Yuuji Kazami
Glad that there's finally people posting. ^_^ I wish you guys would provide a reason or 2 as a description of why you like the song or why the song is good, but it's not mandatory. All the songs posted are good though. Meh, I'm not a stickler for rules.

All the songs posted are good though. Meh, I'm not a stickler for rules. Maiko Hakaine is a vocaloid I found while looking for one with metal-esque vocals. Granted, screamo ain't my favorite style, but if it's the only vocaloid that can pull off that genre, I'll take it. But in terms of vocaloids in general, Mayu is my favorite: I've always adored yandere characters, and considering there's one for vocaloids, I found that as an excuse to explore them more. Yuuji Kazami
Here's another one of my favourites. The English translation is "Even Though My Song Has No Form". It is sang (covered) by my favourite Utaite, Hanatan. I really like the instruments and the melody in this one. Plus, Hanatan has amazing vocals. ^_^

Yuuji Kazami
Alrighty, so here's another one~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eGazzxcp3I This one is rather important to me because the lyrics are very powerful and touching. There's different ways of interpreting it, but this song really hits home on some individuals, like me. ^_^ Btw, Nano is female. She just has a really NATURAL low voice. Yuuji Kazami
Hmm... Miku eh? I found this song a little funky at first due to the unusual melody it had. However, after listening it to a couple of time, it got better and better. Of course, I prefered the Hanatan version over the Miku version, but the song itself is really beautiful. If you search up the lyrics, you'll realize that this song focuses on the aspect of lovers after death and reincarnation. Also, the lyrics are deep and... Beautiful. Of course, it's not a happy one. The song is based off of the Japanese myth that two lovers who commit suicide will be reborn as twins, because it is a punishment from the gods. Basically, the twins can not love each others like lovers because it becomes forbidden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG8gfMDanBs

Arctic55
For the record, I like Lee and Lie's version of Crossing Field best. But maybe it's because I memorized it. Anyways, when I started this video, I was like, "damn, I wish I had friends like that... wait... I wish I had friends in general..." then 1:28 happened, and I was like "HOLY S***" then the 3:40 stuff started happening, and the jewelry was like "how precious"... in the end, no idea what the song is saying, but the video gave the feels.
