Toffee.
*checks* Why does this thread exist? It's 2008 and this is actually the GameFAQs board for Ygo World Championship 2008. We are jabroniing that Raiza the Storm Monarch is overpowered. Geez, man, get with the times.

BlackBeartic
I like how... People just outright forget that Skip Force revives too and think UTL is an all end out when... 1. Skip force revives.2. I can just wait til UTL is off the field if it happens to have 4 mats before bringing it back.3. You've got more to worry about if you think UTL is an all end out. At this point it loses any of its extra abilities and becomes purely a 3500 beatstick with protection; one that, mind you, any deck worth its mettle can beat over with relative ease. Still pretty close to the bottom of the Towers Monsters Rankings.
Ryusei the Morning Star
Last I checked, Scout doesn't have a built in "revive Towers" effect. I could be wrong though
The Warden
Last Strix doesn't have a built-in "draw 3" either, so what's your point?

I could be wrong thoughYou can just search for shell or disk, which could be bigger than towers anyway. Remember the part where the revived falcon has no protection? That they both suck and that TCG is foolish to continually keep towers banned?Who cares? No harm done. Well yeh It's pretty low, but i just thought i'd put that out there because I feel like a lot of people don't realize that I can bring it back again. I could be wrong though Last I checked, I also put Ultimate Falcon only just above Towers due to slightly better armor and a couple other small things. Dora and Magnus still outclass them both overall.

Tinkerer
Mfw, the last/second time I faced Ultimately Falcon, I simply attacked around it with Heartlandraco and won.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
They each have a balancing factor. Magnus leaves you with like nothing in hand, Towers is banned (and just bad), Falcon forces you to run raidraptors, and Dora doesn't exist. Kaiji
Some random ass Magnus outs I dealt wit -Clear Wing using Chanbarider as material-Cybers baiting the shuffle with Core, having another Cydra to Fortress me, then making Cyber Nova Dragon, revive Cydra to remove my wall of my revived mechs for Fortress #2-Rhapsody in Berserk + Dante only cause after I shuffled the first Rhapsody he had the means to Break Sword again and make it again (it was a catch 22 since if I shuffled Dante he'd just detach for Rhapsody's Materials RIP FIELD SPELL and make Dante again)
Slinky
The thing with Falcon, is you have to out it /twice/ and UTL is generally only going to be able to do it once, so you have to be able to overpower it a second time, which not many decks are capable of doing that easily, or you're lucky enough to draw sided Kaijus. The second effect is legit just gravy anyway, and the main appeal is that its a 3500 huge beatstick that is immune to everything except Kaiju/Lava Golem/Volcanic Queen/Ra Sphere/Santa Claws and battle. And unlike Towers/Magnus, you can't Cydra your way out of it either, in most situations you're forced to run over it.

IQuitDolphin
Worry not, our lord and savior, Utopia the Lightning will come in our aid. If I could downvote this I would. ----- I'm honestly quite fine with "Towers" like monsters like this, if only because it gives you the feeling that your boards don't get instantly destroyed by a simple Dark Hole, etc.
VCR_CAT
To clarify; I mean to say that Falcon is better than Towers, and that Dora is better than Falcon. Dora is, overall, easier and more consistent to summon. While its protection effect may not seem as good to compensate, it has considerably better utility than Falcon's stat reduction, and can be used to not only protect other monsters you control, but also to stop plays like Mask Change, Rank-Up-Magic, or keep a Monarch from beating over Dora while Dominion is out. Beyond that, Dora also has access to Derricrane, and removal during your opponent's turn definitely outclasses a 1000 point reduction when it comes to protecting the monster and for disrupting plays. On the topic of Falcon; it's always important to know the shortcomings of these monsters. Giga's right in pointing out that each of the Towers monsters has a weakpoint in its design, and it's very important to attack those when you see them for massive damage. Falcon's case is that Falcon has a very difficult time protecting itself from raw face-beaters, like Towers. While UTL is able to beat over any of the Towers monsters, it has the most success against Towers and Falcon due to their inability to disrupt plays or remove cards on the opponent's turn. Always keep this in mind. Also, it's my honest opinion that a deck needs to be able to smash over beatsticks like this in order to be truly solid. I always keep this in mind when designing my decks: "But can it beat huge amounts of face?"
