Ok, I'll make Black Doom a boss. To FF7 Revolution, Roy, Ike and Marth are playable characters. They were in previous SSB installments, so you can select them if you like. Your character list is also selected (you can change it if you want) and I'll consider your character request.

Ganondorf, Nightmare, and Bass.exe were standing or floating in the bridge of the newly commandeered Halberd, overlooking Castle Davok in the kingdom of Rural.

"Castle Davok," Ganondorf spat bitterly. "We must not go near it until we are ready to conquer Lord Davok's army. Cloaking mode is still activated, right, Bass?" he finished, casting a threatening glare towards the executable program.

"We're completely invisible," Bass reassured the Evil King.

"Let's turn this ship around," Nightmare muttered, heaving the wheel. "We still need to scope out Base Alpha. Let's hope this cloaking device doesn't give out on us."

"It won't on my watch," Bass said firmly.

••

"Base Alpha," Link Jysgarren Xalax (known here on out as Jysgarren) murmured, staring at the base from a nearby hilltop. "Good times... good times..."

"You can say that again," the Hero of Time (known here on out as Link) agreed mournfully, turning the Courage version of Master Sword over in his hands several times. "You never know everyone in there, though. Sometimes I think they deliberately separate the rooms. That way we can't find..." His voice trailed off.

"...I know what you mean," Jysgarren sighed, turning. Suddenly, something hit both of their hypersensitive ears: the very faint sound of active engines.

"That sounds like Halberd," Jysgarren realized.

"MetaKnight's ship?" Link was confused; he'd met MetaKnight only once, and the two were on extremely good terms. "Why's it in cloaked mode.

"No idea. We'd better warn the others," Jysgarren said breathlessly as he started towards the base, Link close behind.

The Hooded One stood meditating in the Old Temple. A roar from his communicator made him stand up. ``Sir, the Halberd's just scouting out Base Alpha. Why haven't you given orders to attack yet?'' an impatient Bowser's voice roared over the communicator. ``It isss not the time.'' the Hooded One murmured. ``Sssend DeDeDe in to report on the defense grids on Smashtown. It sssshall gain us an advantage in the upcoming war.'' Bowser grumbled impatiently and ended the transmission.

Lord Davok stood calmly on his throne in Castle Davok. All around the castle his army stood, waiting for attack from either the Halberd or from any despicable heroes. The Master of Villains was rather dissapointed at how terribly Bass.exe had managed to power up the cloaking systems. Probably every hero entering or exiting Base Alpha saw them. Lord Davok put in a transmission. ``Hooded One, how are the preparations for the upcoming war?'' the dictator of Rural asked. ``Alll is prepared, my Master.'' the Hooded One said. ``Soooon we shall gain complete control of Smashtown, and then this... Earth you seem to talk about. How did you know this place?'' Lord Davok smiled. ``Oh, I know it very, very well.'' (OoC: See my bio, it'll basically explain Davok's backstory)

Ending the transmission, the Hooded One walked to the center of the Old Temple. A mysterious warp signature appeared on the center of the grid in the altar. It was coming from Base Alpha. It was... the Hooded One recoiled in horror. The signature was.... human.

"What the—?" Bass.exe was incredulous. "This thing's cloaking system must have been rigged; it sucks! Lemme recalibrate it —" Soon, all sound was muffled, and not even Lord Davok could find the Halberd.

"...It's gone..." Link realized at the entrance to Base Alpha.

"Must have just blasted away," Jysgarren muttered, entering Base Alpha notwithstanding.

Gamer looked at the strange portal opening in front of him. It beckoned. Come...come... into the world...[/b]In a daze Gamer entered the portal. He was sucked into the swirling vortex, his molecules being transported on place to another. Around him were images from thousands of video games in his world: Link defeating King Bulbin, Mario defeating Bowser from Super Mario Bros. 1. Then he saw to his horror himself, being sucked into the vortex. He landed in a thump in a dusty room, all rusty and metal. The portal closed behind him, and he was left alone in an empty, old room. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. Pounding on the door, he cried ``Help! Anybody! Please!''

DeDeDe grumbled as he patrolled the City Streets of Smashtown. Bowser always gave him the stupid trivial missions. Was this any way to treat the King of Dreamland? Suddenly, a giant spasm of pain swept through him, and also the other inhabitants of Smashtown. It was a feeling of... of... something breaking. A gateway opening.

``Sir, it's... a HUMAN!'' the Hooded One cried frantically to Lord Davok over the transmitter. ``Impossible.'' Davok scoffed. ``No human could ever break through the Fourth Wall.'' He was still very angry at the signal from the Halberd being blocked. He had underestimated Bass. ``I don't have time for this nonsense.'' the Master of Villains said. Suddenly the same gut wrenching pain swept through him. His eyes widened. ``No... impossible!'' he cried out. He leaped up and smashed the transmitter in his fury. ``I will NOT be denied! The human shall be killed! It will be in my grasp! Once I control the Earth... there will be nothing to stop me. A human...'' Lord Davok calmed down a little. ``Tell me the coordinates.'' the dictator said over his communicator. ``30,89,43,23.'' the Hooded One replied. ``Base Alpha...'' Davok muttered. ``There's no use holding back the war now!'' he muttered. ``Hooded One, order the Halberd to lead a party of villains on a hit and run assault on Base Alpha! Find the human, and kill him! He will only jeopardize my goal!'' The Hooded One nodded and close the communication. ``Bowser.'' the Hooded One called over his comm link. ``What?'' Bowser growled. ``Tell the Halberd to open fire on Base Alpha, and lead a hit'n'run squad to exterminate a human inside there.'' Bowser shook his head. ``A human? Hmmm... that explains a lot. Anyway, I'll send the orders.''

Cloud, Squall, Sephiroth, Master Chief, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader were at a secret location discussing some plans. Squall: So its clear then? Master Chief: Yes, will take this road into Smashtown then make are way to this main branch of Smashtown where will take out everyone in the building. Cloud: Hmm...I see, working on the same team as Sephiroth again has brought back old memories of when we were in Soldier I'm glad he's changed his outlook since then, Sephiroth whats your call? Sephiroth: I wouldn't care either way as long as I get to use this blade on someone. Obi Wan: So, its agreed then? Darth: Yes, it seems that this plan is almost full proof as long as there are no interruptions...

Suddenly, Ganondorf was intrigued by a sight just outside the helm of Halberd. "Bass, take us out of cloak. Nightmare, direct all cannons towards those plotters." Leaping out of Halberd's bridge, Ganondorf landed just behind Darth Vader, sword drawn.

"We've been looking for you, Darth," the Great King of Evil growled, smiling slightly. "Come with us. Take whoever you'd like. And don't look now, but we have a battleship's full armament turned on you. Surrender."

Bowser pressed down on the comm link for what seemed to be the hundredth time. ``Bowser to Halberd... BOWSER TO HALBERD! Answer me, you stupid computer!'' Bowser cursed. He had almost forgotten that the cloak on the Halberd stopped all outside communication. Roaring in rage, Bowser contacted the other members.

A hero in a blue suit and blue helmet ran through the internet. Now that he wasn't involved in a plot or anything, he can take his time and explore! Suddenly he came to a firewall marked HALBERD. He sensed Bass' presence within. Blasting open the firewall, Megaman cried: ``BASS!''

Kefka heard the command from Bowser. ``Fiiine.'' the childish villain said. ``He raced down the path to the place where the Halberd was moored, and Ganondorf and Nightmare were apprehending the several plotters. Moving to Ganondorf, Kefka said: ``The Hooded One wants you to take a hit'n'run mission on Base Alpha ASAP. Something about a human.''

Oh. I'll delete my last post. Let's just continue with the RPG. To be fair to SGY, you did practically invite him to find your secret location when Darth said `if there are no interruptions'. And also it's kind of too late now since it's already been put into the plot.

Ganondorf, Davok wants us to hit & run on Base Alpha. We gonna go along? Nightmare asked telepathically.

We don't have much choice; we need to stick with Davok for a while, Ganondorf responded. Go without me. Stay to the east and use a full portside assault. Circle around and get me afterwards. Starboard broadside if you want.

Deal, Nightmare acknowledged.

"So?" the Evil King inquired of the fallen Jedi. "What do you say?"

OoC: Well, FFRevelution, when you said 'if there are no interruptions,' I took it as an invitation to invoke Murphy's Law. I'm not deleting my post, so deal with it.

"Come, then," Ganondorf gestured to the departing Halberd. Change of plans, he transmitted to Nightmare. Beam me up.

Agreed, the message came from Halberd. The group was transported immediately.

"Bass is having problems with keeping the system blocked," Nightmare gestured. "Are we sending in reinforcements?"

"You're the pilot," Ganondorf muttered, approaching the console. "Vader! You and your group need to fire all port cannons when we're in targeting range of Base Alpha. When we turn, fire our starboard armament. We're approaching from the south. Nightmare, you know the plan."

"Stick to the east, and keep a starboard ready for our return pass," the embodiment of Soul Edge recited. "I'm set."

"Bass, pull me in," Ganondorf ordered. Bass obliged. As soon as he got his bearings, Ganondorf charged at MegaMan, sword drawn.

Activating his Cyber Sword, Megaman clashed with Ganondorf. Looking at the approach of the Halberd and the clash of the two, he smiled. Everything was going as planned. But he still needed to deal with the human. A black and red striped hedgehog stepped in front of Davok's throne. ``You sent for me, my lord?'' Shadow asked. (OoC: Shadow is suffering amnesia in this RP. Davok of course, is manipulating him.) The Master of Villains smiled. ``Yes, Shadow.'' he said. ``There is a very important mission I have for you. There is a human inside Base Alpha. Sneak into the base and kill him.'' Shadow nodded and rushed out of the castle in the direction of Base Alpha. Looking at a globe below him, Lord Davok watched as a young girl was standing on a hill, feeling the wind in her hair. He laughed. ``Time to put another card in play.'' he said, and vanished in a cloud of black smoke.

Gamer finally broke down the door and found himself in a hallway that seemed to go on forever. Suddenly two people in green outfits passed, and Gamer ducked behind a corner. He couldn't believe his eyes. They were- But Gamer's thoughts were interrupted by a shout of ``CHAOS CONTROL!'' and he was blown into the corridor right in front of Link and Jyssgarren. Shadow hovered over them all as alarms blared: ``We are under attacked! The Halberd is attacking!''

Lizardman was walking down the corridor, his dignity lost. He had just stepped out of his portal, and the events that had happened were less than satisfactory. Suddenly an imprint, like a tattoo, glowed red on his skin. They were two dragon heads encased in a cloak of smoke. The war has begun. Well, no point in resisting destiny. Lizardman thought. He then joined the other villains in rioting out of Base Alpha to join the Halberd.

As Ganondorf and Base defeated MegaMan, the villains Ganondorf had recruited were doing an admirable job of firing Halberd's cannons. Unfortunately, all the heroes in the base were on the alert -- and massing all on one side.

Sonic and Blaze, Jysgarren and Midna, Link and Talim... Nightmare went through all the heroes who, despite having been separated for 95% of their lives, formed perfect fighting units, They'll devastate us if we give them enough time to mass...

"Change of plans; base is on red," Nightmare warned Ganondorf. "We'll have to circle to the east."

"Go ahead," Ganondorf growled. His adversaries were dueling with Shadow the Hedgehog below...

••

"Shadow?!" Link called as he evaded a Chaos Spear. "I thought this whole amnesia thing stopped at Rush! Ever heard of a dead horse, goddesses?" he muttered as he rolled, a Chaos Spear reflecting off his Mirror Shield. ...Waiddaminnit... ...reflecting off his Mirror Shield...

Link leaped in front of Gamer, Mirror Shield held aloft and Master Sword Courage version drawn. Behind Shadow, Jysgarren had taken the hint and activated his spectral Magic Armor, pointing the tip of Master Sword Power version straight between Shadow's angry eyes.

"So you still can't remember..." Jysgarren said softly before lunging at the Ultimate Life Form.

"Chaos Control!" Shadow retorted, taking advantage of the stopped time to start strangling Gamer. Unfortunately, this left him at Link's mercy when time started up again. The Hero of Time would have sliced him in half if it weren't for his Rings. Even so, Shadow was badly injured, Gamer was very much alive, and Halberd was even fleeing... not that it would get very far with certain heroes on its tail.

Lord Davok looked on at Talim forming a unit to defend the base. Davok didn't plan on destroying Base Alpha. It was his only route to Earth. Then, the human might be able to tell him something... ``Shadow, come in! You have new orders!'' Lord Davok spoke over his comm link. ``You are to just capture the human, do not kill him! Come in Shadow!'' but all his reply was static. ``Curses, I need to stop him before he kills him...'' the Master of Villains muttered. Then he looked down at Talim. ``But I have more pressing matters to do.'' he said. A column of dark tendrils ascended from the ground and wrapped around Davok's hand, forming his trusty sword, Armageddon. ``Talim must be captured.'' Davok muttered, and flung himself into the fray.

Wario drove his Wario Chopper out of WarioWare Inc. (OoC: In this RPG Wario is wearing his WarioWare costume from Brawl) Suddenly a red tattoo shone red in his hand: Two dragon heads encloaked in tendrils of smoke. ``Well, it's about time.'' Wario cackled evilly. He turned around right for the Smashtown National Museum.

Of all the defense units of Base Alpha, Talim's very well may have been doing the best. She and all the heroes she led were doing an excellent job of repelling Halberd's shots and invaders... that is, until Lord Davok showed up. Rumors spread quickly throughout Base Alpha that Lord Davok himself had appeared, and just as well, as the crowd was able to form enough of a barrier to allow Talim to run for her life.

Of course, by the time news reached Link, Jysgarren, and Gamer, it was pretty garbled. However, they still recognized the urgency of the situation, immediately setting out to keep Lord Davok from causinig too much carnage.
