(1st attempt) Super Quantum

You're off to a decent start. Interesting pick with the Volcanic as a tech for card refresh. But, I do have some suggestions that will help your overall consistency and utility:

- 1 Reasoning - You won't be milling monsters that often; but you will be milling Spells and Traps, and that's not really what you want.

- 1 Carrier - 2 is optimal. Blue Layer can shuffle them back and make Terraforming live again, so it's not really worth running more than 2 (they can be cloggy)

- 2 Upstart - I have a better idea for deck thinning.

+ 2 Terraforming - It will get you to the field spell faster and, again, Blue Layer can recycle the field spell so Terraforming will almost never be dead.

+ 2 Chicken Game - You can remove this by placing Carrier overtop, and it helps with deck thinning a lot more than Upstart when Terraforming is involved.

 

 

If there's any other suggestion; I'd suggest maybe for the Extra Deck to drop 101 for Emeral. I would also consider cutting down to 2 Green Layers and 2 Blue Layers and looking at making room for Clowns; you can also drop Foolish Burial and the Quantum Trap to make better room for those.

With the Volcanics, I was originally going to try to work in Scattershot+Blaze Accelerator, but couldn't.

...how are you STILL having issues on getting a self-summoning monster out?

That's not the issue, it's being able to board it after you consume your Normal Summon for Blue Layer/Alphan misfire after searching it, or having a monster on board because you used Etele to search it.

 

And that's not even counting the situations where Blue has to choose between the Field and Red Layer
