Activate 1 of these effects.

● Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; change that target's battle position

● Tribute 1 monster, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; take control of that target until the End Phase.

I know Winter made a post on Forge of the True Dracos, but why not just run this? It fills the same role as Forge, but is 10 times better since you get a free Dracoslayer from deck, a free shuffle, and a Level 8 for Felgrand (Number 38 incoming). Also makes OTKs a lot easier (Summon 4 Ignisters gg no re)?

In addition, it has usage vs Monarchs as an out since you can switch a Monarch to DEF and then just run over it with minimal effort. You can also use it to take their Monarch so you can play YGO.

Also great in BA, etc. etc.

Would have become a staple at some point if Book of Moon didn't already exist IMO. I remember the most explosive uses of this I saw were using it to grab their monster and sac that one Evoltile that grabs another from the deck to then go into a Rank 4 play.

If, when you activate it, you move the card up twice, down twice, left once, right once, left again, and right again, and then press A, B, and the bottom button, your Life Points will double.

Real Talk, though: Not a big fan. It can get over ships and steal stuff at a cost, sure, but that's...kinda minute compared to other better cards. I'd still use stuff like Mind Control or Book of Moon over this.

You can't truly be outclassed by a limited card. Especially when this card's niche is actually different.

BoM does prevent battle damage/makes things easier to kill, but it also allows you to reproc Flip/Summon effects. Furthermore, it allows you to preemptively answer Spell Speed 1 monster effects by flipping them face down before they do anything.

This prevents battle damage/makes things easier to kill, but it has the niche of serving as a means to take resources from the opponent, and then use them as your own. This is why the card resurfaces at different times, because this type of effect can be really good, even when it costs a tribute.

BoM is clearly better as a rule of thumb, but they're not in the exact same category.
