VCR_CAT
This is very exciting. I had done some casual sleuthing into Warp Drive stuff a couple months ago; and overall the consensus was that the power consumption and/or real specifics were just too out of our reach in this day and age. I mean, right now it's definitely exciting to see something as small as a proof of existence, and seeing warp drive capabilities in this lifetime would be very cool. Maybe then we can get some colonies on Venus* soon! *Turns out it's easier to have colonies on Venus in the style Bespin Cloud Cities (but not really) than it is on Mars. epicmemesbro
The fastest thing discovered thus far is the speed of light. Thing is we can't build something to go that fast since light is unaffected by outside forces such as gravity or distance. The only way it can be theoretically possible would be to change the molecular structure of the space craft to match that of light.

Do some reading, m8.
cardgameking
The final frontier... sheet like this makes me proud of the human race. Imagine it, colonising first are own solar system then spreading outward. I'm imagining something like the Empire from Asimov's Foundation series, except without inevitable decline. That is why black holes are black

Ryusei the Morning Star
Don't warpdrives alter the fabric of space time to kinda make the distance shorter? Or we talking Interstellar type Black Hole creation
Arctic55
Don't warpdrives alter the fabric of space time to kinda make the distance shorter? Or we talking Interstellar type Black Hole creationIn theory, warpdrives alter the fabric of space, essentially folding it, to make the distance shorter. Although, Star Trek warpdrives warp the fabric around the ship, kinda like it's swimming/folding (if that makes sense) through the fabric of space. epicmemesbro
Wormholes have been neither proven nor disproven. Even so, that would probably be as fast as things could get transported since they would be instantaneous. But the universe is so vast we may not find any even if they are existent.
