mitchermitcher
It's been over for almost 10 hours over here. Can't say the day was special in any notable way other than being a leap year. Talked about leap years with a friend though, since the occasion came up. I thought of dividing and classifying people by the amount of leap years they've lived through, and it sounds like a rather fascinating idea. In this day and age, even with kids of the same generation tastes tend to differ greatly. And considering how much I seem to have changed since the previous leap year(2012, was it), it was a fascinating idea that admittingly has no real use. Thar
What if someone's birthday was February 29th? How would that work?
Flash Flyer - Sakura
This is the only leap year that I was actually on YCM; joined the year after 2008 and I was gone during 2012. But otherwise, day wasn't anything special (the usual February exams and other weekday business at college). Still about 7 hours left at the time of writing for me, ----@Thar: I would assume one would celebrate it either on February 28th or March 1st on non-leap years. I seem to recall reading something on Wikipedia that certain countries consider 18th/21st birthdays falling on non-leap years to take place on either of those days.
