Monster Reborn isn't as broken as Raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster. However, they could unban Raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster tomorrow and it wouldn't be very important; DDT clears the field just as easily without them, Valley/Explosion doesn't care what cards the opponent has, and Dark Armed Dragon = Raigeki + Harpie's Feather Duster + Strike Ninja + 2800 ATK.

Monster Reborn was put in to compencate for the banning of Call. Let me go through the old 7 Staples

Monster Reborn: Now Unbanned. Very Very Powerful but not Quick Play

Raigeki: Totally Destroys all Monsters of your Opponents with no Drawback.

Harpies Feather Duster: Same as Raigeki but for S/T

Change of Heart: A Ridiclious way to gain Field Advantage, No Drawbacks

Dark Hole: Blows up the Whole Field of Monsters. Raigeki if you have none.

Graceful Charity: Instant +1 with a Awesome chance of Recursion

Pot of Greed: +2 No Drawbacks.

Monster Reborn was the only "Maybe" Card. If Call comes back Reborn will go.

there are MUCH more broken cards they could of brought back than reborn' date=' does it really make that big of an impact on the tcg? not that ive noticed.

Well, the way you said it, it sounded like you said it was a pretty bad card, which is definately not true.

delinquien duo is far back (i think thats what your saying)

it was spell ruler 3rd booster to come out ^_^

a -1 to your opponent how horrible

this is why i think confiscation should be limited as its just a +0

Agreed.

Graceful Charity: Instant +0 with massive deck thinning with a Awesome chance of Recursion

Pot of Greed: +1 No Drawbacks.

Fixed.

You seem to have a better understanding on advantage, but lack that on game mechanics.

Confiscation should not comeback, even if it's just a 1;1.

What? What makes you think we WOULD?

They brought Monster Reborn back because it can be used against certain decktypes to steal their advantage, it isn't easily brought back from the grave anymore, and it has less timing versatility. Activating Call can bring back your monster to defend from an oncoming attack, completely changing advantage in some cases, and also lets you automatically return a destroyed monster.

Can we stop the ridiculous arguments of how Call > Reborn? Everyone knows that Reborn > Call, and these situational examples designed to justify Konami's idiotic banlist aren't helping anything.
