i try to get doomfire out in first hand or as quickly as possible, but if that fails, i send the counters to the grave, they do damage, especially when there are 2 in the grave, then i use scattershot to eliminate all the monsters on the opponent's side of the field, same job with the prominences, soul of fire uses a hammerer or a spun Doomfire from play to deal damage, Ultimate Baseball Kid is a nasty beatstick, especially when the field is full of fire monsters, Recharge is used with the scattershots, believe it or not, when they are attacking while volcanic counter is in the graveyard, they do not attack directly with thier high ATK monsters

try to get 3x VOLCANIC ROCKET. they'll really speed up this deck. add a few S/T destroyers too (something like 2x DARK BRIBE, at least), for protection, and to get around RAINBOW LIFE.

@ thread creator. Get a third Volcanic Shell. Run 3 or none, in a Volcanic deck, always run 3. Scattershot is mediocre. Firestorm Prominence is bad and needs to be cut from the deck.

 

Also, Volcanic Rockets are needed. I know they are hard to find, but they allow you to only run 1 to 2 Accelerators, which greatly increases the consistency of your deck. (Hard to get dead draws.)

Burn decks are good with Cylinder.

 

And, also, if you look on this list, you WILL find a Swords of Revealing Light.

I would get the structure deck with flaming emperor to go with this. Fire and Volcano go together.

42 is ok for a deck as other people have said get more rockets
