Flame Dragon
So, if you still need a Genesect, the second chance event is now live for the Gen 6 games. US code is GENESECT20 and Europe is GENESECT2016 Y'know, this is something that's bothered me a lot since Gen 4: What does Gamefreak have against rock-type moves? I mean, if you look at Serebii, you'll find the rock movepool to be about as shallow as the dragon movepool (rock has 17 moves (not including the Z-Move), and dragon has 16). And something else you'll notice is the accuracy. For a reason I can't begin to fathom, only 4 offensive rock moves out of 17 have 100 accuracy, with the rest having an evil chance to miss (looking at you Stone Edge). Like, I seriously don't get it. Rock Tomb is basically the rock version of Bulldoze (they both have a 100% chance to lower speed), and yet, Bulldoze not only has 100 accuracy, but in doubles it hits both opponents, while Rock Tomb can only target one. I honestly don't understand why Rock Tomb should have 95 accuracy, or why a lot of those moves can miss. Is it flavour or something? Cause, that's a freaking dumb excuse when you ad lib the use of flavour in lieu of PRACTICALITY. Worse still, 2 of the 17 are signature moves to boot, and Rock Wrecker can only be used by a total of 3 mons, so the pool at large for most pokemon is a total of 14 rock moves. I seriously DO NOT get why this typing is being handled so poorly, I really don't. I mean, is it just because ground is better or something? If you saw my move rant a page of two back I went over the fact that Rock is one of the types that most needs a reliable STAB option for both physical and special. The main thing Rock has going for it is Stealth Rock which, honestly, might be the reason it gets limited in other areas. Gamefreak's probably biased, but yeah, Rock really needs more moves that have good accuracy and higher power; definitely on the accuracy [which they could've fixed this generation, but chose not to and instead nerfed other things that didn't deserve it]. Rock Throw sucks already; did they really have to make it miss 10% of the time? Or really, more attacks in general for them. As much as I like Stone Edge and Rock Slide for reliable STABs, they have a tendency to miss at the wrong times. Don't forget Rock Throw has an ACC of 65% back in Gen 1. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I didn't start playing the games until maybe late Gen 3 / early Gen 4, so wouldn't have known Rock Throw had even crappier accuracy back then. But yeah, it really shouldn't have accuracy loss for something that low. Stealth Rock is golden though.
The Warden
Actually the rant was like, 4-5 pages ago, but semantics. My general rule of thumb is that power and accuracy should be in equal and opposite proportion to each other, so lower power moves (80 or below) should always have 100 accuracy, with anything higher starting to get crippled in compensation for being more powerful. Rock is always a glaring issue since yeah, Rock Throw has no bonus effect, so it should clearly have 100 accuracy instead of 90. I have no idea why they didn't buff it considering they chose to nerf Tackle.
evilfusion
I think one of the reasons for Rock moves not having many 100% accuracy moves is that the theme of many Rock moves involves hurling or throwing rocks. Meaning it's a projectile move with large, heavy objects. Yes, that doesn't necessarily MEAN anything, but I would expect moves involving chucking boulders at an enemy to not be 100% accurate. Also, they're probably wary of Rock because of how meta-defining Stealth Rock was. They removed it from being a TM in Gen V (I think) because of that. Rock is super effective against very common types like Fire and Flying, and while Ice also hits Flying super-effective and Ice is given more love than Rock, Ice has different shortcomings. First off, the image that rock attacks are just Pokemon throwing rocks at each other was never one I really thought of, but it is now super funny to me since it's basically no better than what a person can do. That being said, the same logic can apply for a lot of moves. A lot of attacks shouldn't have 100% if you think about them in real world terms (its one of the things that makes the anime and manga different) but they do because its simply better game play. In this situation gameplay should, and often does, trump flavor.
~British Soul~
Don't forget Rock Throw has an ACC of 65% back in Gen 1.Huh, I never knew this. Though to be fair, I never used the move in Gen 1.
The Warden
Umm, did say in my rant that you shouldn't put flavour before practicality. Also, during this second run I swear a lot of enemy Pokemon have damn King's Stone equipped considering how often I'm getting funking flinched. Also, I see full well now why the Mimikyu trial is a complete pain in the ass. funking Hypnosis.

Zextra
Hey guys, may I interest anyone with some Breedjects? I'd be happy to breed you guys some for free. You can check my list of breedables here. :
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yeah, the Mimikyu trial was a pain in the ass (and I did remember having to quit partway on Moon; well, rebattling the Gengar line did wonders for EV training to an extent). Forgot what I had on there, or the levels thereof [i think I had Ash-Greninja this time, plus Growlithe to provide some Intimidate support]. I think I remember having to use a bunch of Awakenings / Super Potions, even with that. Everything else after that was easy enough. ===As for Zex, I'm probably interested, but at the moment, don't exactly have a lot of trade fodder you might want. Still trying to breed a Rockruff w/perfect IVs (b/c I don't have enough Bottle Caps to override them regardless). Might want Popplio though, if only for the IVs. The Warden
I had a bunch of high IV Popplios, but I decided to GTS them for the current Global Mission. Much to my chagrin, I had 100% forgotten to sign up for he Global Mission first, so those 18 Popplio rejects I traded didn't count.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I have to trade evo some stuff anyway, so might as well do it while the mission is going. Need to make sure Moon cartridge's signed up for it too.
The Warden
Welp, I did it. I got 1.5 million thumbs up and unlocked V5 of the PokeFinder. The call function is complete sheet. Complete, utter sheet. All it does is make a mon look at you, and I think to also change their walk path so it goes closest to you, that's all. ... *Throws a handful of confetti* Still, it's good to have another stamp unlocked anyways. EDIT: After much toil, I've beaten Battle Royale Master Rank, and funk was it awful doing so. The amount of dumb luck you need is funking absurd, not to mention the unnatural volume of mons that appeared that most unusually countered my team hard. Either way, I won thanks mostly to my Huge Power Azumarill Brooke, whose Belly Drum + Aqua Jet combo did a number on many opponents, except that one first turn where a Crobat conveniently crit killed her with Cross Poison, which I had predicted would happen the second I saw it. Also, I gotta ask how some random maintenance guy has an Entei. Mega/Z-Stones I get, but Entei, seriously?
Fusion X. And congrats on your victory.*throws confetti*

I can get if it were a VETERAN or Ace Trainer using a legendary, because they had them in the battle facilities in Gen 5 and 6, but not the janitor. At least it's not a little kid (see Preschooler/Youngster) carrying it because then we'd probably get more pissed off about how a (under) 5-year old can wield a legendary that we have to work our asses off to capture in previous generations. Then again, I think some guys mentioned a few pages ago that Royale/Tree are hax to an extent, because they "conveniently" carry an out for whatever you have, and other stuff. ====Congratulations on beating Master Rank though. ====I cbb to do Super and further right now, because IV breeding and making sure whatever I use can deal with the AI and their ability to field outs no matter what. Tree is easier for me, since it's 1v1 and don't have randoms deciding to team up and attack my 'mons at once.
The Warden
Yeah, when I say outs, I mean teams that are almost exclusively water type because of my Volcarona Soleil and Brooke's Aqua Jet. In one match, there were 2 Milotic on the field at the same time. There was also a Summy Day team starring Lurantis, a Chlorophyll Venusaur, and CharY that appeared when I swapped Soleil for a Greninja. And I know the Venusaur has Chlorophyll because he outsped my Greninja that has a speed boosting nature and max speed EVs. Also, Royale is hardly worth it when the Master Rank prize is 5 BP and a new pose.
Yemachu
I only took on Battle Royale for the new pose. And I agree that the teams the enemies use seem somewhat unfair most of the time. Like a 3-ish vs 1 trickroom team; Honchcrow used Icy Wind, raising Gothitelle's Special Attack 2 more stages (My (Mega) Salamence's Intimidate triggered Competitive first), Gothitelle used Trickroom… that didn't end well (can't quite remember the other details). Anyhow, I got a rather favourable type matchup in the run that I beat Master Rank; those fighting and grass types were no match for my Mega Salamence's (Aerialate boosted) Return. In other news: various stores throughout the world provide codes which you can use to obtain a single Bottle cap…

evilfusion
So it looks like the Global Mission passed its goal already. Not too surprised, actually. With a TRADING based goal, each transaction technically counts as 2 (one point per player). And even I did like 20+ trades, just by posting a Squirtle breeding reject and asking for something actually reasonable, like an Island scan Poke (something I don't want to bother going after myself, but still want). The Warden
I'm honest to god getting funking sick of all the 30% flinching moves the AI use. I have been flinched more times by uses of Air Slash than I haven't been flinched by it. Like, it's beyond the funking joke how many turns I've lost to flinching now. And now this is magical, my Stone Edge missed while the enemy Vikavolt's Zap Cannon hit.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
No need for anything in return. Let me know what you would like and I will try to breed them for you :) Do you happen to have any more Feebas in Beast Balls; apparently lost mine (the one I asked you to name) trying to do the GTS event while evolving stuff (even though I got a JP Buzzwole out of it). Oh right, and suppose Modest Popplio.
The Warden
If you want a high IV Modest Popplio I could breed you one. I just unlocked the IV Judge again. EDIT: Yare yare. I'm trying to get some legit Ultra Beasts with decent natures and IVs, and I have been utterly roadblocked by Buzzwole. I funking sheet you not, 9 time outta 10 it has Best IVs in Sp.Atk, always. It's like the mon is funking MAGNETIZED towards Sp.Atk considering how often it gets max in that stat, it's funking ridiculous.

And sure, Popplio should be easy to breed. Let me know when you're available and I'll try to check in a couple times tonight. :)
