Flash Flyer - Sakura
Sun (male): Smug / Elegant / Normal (former for now)Moon (female): Girlish I have all of them bar the ones obtained in Battle Tree / Royale; didn't really like the Reverent one too much and Left-Handed is weird (probably because I'm right-handed). Yeah, I even tried the Girlish one on Sun, where I'm male. ===Still waiting for Bank to be available for Gen 7, but if it's like XY/ORAS, don't expect it until February. The difference, skin color. For moon, I picked the trainer on the bottom right. and for sun the bottom left.
evilfusion
Actually you might want to look here about pokebank update: http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-au/pokemon-bank/ I think Sakura meant "don't expect it until the END of January". We already knew it was coming "January 2017", but we probably hoped it be like...yesterday.
~British Soul~
Yeah, a lot of people hoped it was yesterday to tie in with the start of the new Battle Spot season.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Implication was "if Bank is going to be delayed, then we should expect it sometime at the end of the month, if not February". I'm not a programmer, so I don't know what kind of things they'd have to do to make sure Bank works with Generations 5 through 7 (5 to work with Transporter, and keep XY/ORAS and Sun/Moon separate). Would've been nice to have it available yesterday; could start moving some stuff over b/c my boxes are crowded as-is in-game and I do want to move stuff back from Bank. Might've liked it if they had a more definitive date, but meh. (Not that I care about the Battle Season since I'm too busy nowadays to play in them)
Urayne
Oksy nice. I got metronome to turn into yvetal's oblivion wing. Anyone come across legendary moves with metronome?
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Not really, or rather that I don't use Metronome because it's gimmicky enough as-is. Though, I really need to get BP to buy stuff in Sun/Moon (see Mega Stones and other evo items). Still hate Battle Royale / Tree to an extent, but it is funny to piss off the AI with Celesteela (Leech Seed / Protect / Heavy Slam / coverage move [i think EQ for now, but may want to change it to Flamethrower to deal with other Steels and whatever Slam doesn't kill / heavily damage]). I don't really use that style of play, but it's working really well. (Can only hope we can get BP from moving stuff to Bank)
evilfusion
My hope is that I can just give my accumulated Miles/BP currently in Bank to S/M. Because I've got a ridiculous amount of that right now from X/Y/ORAS. Come to think of it, I'm going to go check... Specifically...I appear to have 9940 Miles, and 994 BP accumulated in Bank. And I think it's telling me that my Omega Ruby file currently has 3547 Miles and 960 BP in game. Probably that massive BP number is from when I needed to pick up the Legendary Golems with Hidden Abilities from Bank last year, and it wouldn't let me take them until I received the currently accumulated Miles/BP. But I didn't need most of the BP items other than the Power Items and the occasional evolution item, Choice item, etc. *spittakes* And my X file has 54,596 Miles, and 895 BP. (For the record, X, OR, and Sun are my "main" file games, where I've done most of my post-game training, breeding, etc stuff) I doubt Y and AS have anywhere near that number, so I won't check those. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Either you can wait to import Groudon/Kyogre from Gen 6, or just get lucky and see how it turns out. I generally don't use Metronome because it is situational, and especially when you are on a timer and need consistency.
~British Soul~
I don't use Metronome either and I began hating the move since TPP continuously bid on Metronome matches (where every move is Metronome).
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Alright tragedy has struck in my Nuzlocke.I made it through the Totem Vikavolt no issue and still have had only two deaths this whole time. Now fighting Guzma, that was...here's how my thoughts went. >"Oh so this is Godpod, gonna be rough. It's Bug/Water right? Happy (Torracat) has Eviolite should be able to take at least one Water move">Uses Fire Attack, barely any damage>They use Swords Dance>"Oh funk no he can't handle that. Tinkerer
I dunno if it's been said earlier, but anyone else disappointed at the lack of generic moves from Sun/Moon? Flame Dragon
I dunno if it's been said earlier, but anyone else disappointed at the lack of generic moves from Sun/Moon? There seemed to be a ton more signature moves over regular ones which really bugged me... We have most the generic good moves covered at this point. Yea, it sucks that few holes we haven't aren't being filled since some older Pokemon would love them, but at least the new ones are getting good moves to go with their stats. As for the holes, I'm pretty sure I've gone over them before, but just to do it again. First, my rule is that it needs to have at least 80 power and 90 acc, have no major draw back, and have wide spread availability. Rock: Rock Slide a little weak and Stone Edge misses to much. Special has Power Gem and is pretty lacking in users (though Gen 7 did help a little). Electric: Wild Charge's recoil keeps it from counting. Fire: Flare Blitz has recoil and Black Kick and Fire Lash are super limited. Flying: Brave Bird has recoil, Fly and Bounce are terrible, and Drill Peck is super limited for physical. Hurricane has no acc and Air Slash is a little too weak. Ghost: They tried with Phantom Force, but the delay makes it suck. Shadow Claw is just too weak and all the others options are exclusive moves. Of all the types, a good physical ghost move is the most obvious thing that a number of Pokemon are hurting for. Fighting: It is funny that when you look at the good physical fighting options they are all either limited in who gets it, have low acc, or have a draw back. Luckily for the type none of the draw backs are so bad that it hurts them a ton. On the special end Focus Blast has crap acc and Aura Sphere is limited, but nearly all Fighting types are physical based. Ice: Ice Hammer and Icicle Crash are limited, but all the Pokemon that would want them get them. Dark: Knock Off doesn't work mutiple times, Sucker Punch was nerfed and can fail, Foul Play doesn't use your stat, Darkest Lariat and Throat Chop are limited, and Crunch is a lot less wide spread than you'd think for Dark types (though it isn't bad). Knock Off is strong enough that it makes up a decent amount for the lack of a generic good move.

Zextra
I used Toxapex for the first time on Battle Spot; my opponent rage-quitted immediately after seeing how little Gengar's Psychic could do to it :p

There seemed to be a ton more signature moves over regular ones which really bugged me... To an extent, yeah, but more on the lines that we need better moves for certain Types; least on the opposite spectrum from what Types are normally classed in. Flame mentioned examples of them. On a sidenote about the electric ones, Tapu Koko probably should've had its attacking stats inverted [would've made better use of its movepool, though Charge/Brave Bird/U-Turn aren't bad for attack moves]. A better physical Electric move might've helped. Would be nice to get another physical Psychic move that isn't Zen Headbutt; has okay power and accuracy, but yeah. ===Getting used to playing with bulky 'mons in Sun/Moon; least ones that are more passive (i.e. Leech Seed Celesteela). It takes longer to win (and goes against the grain of me trying to sweep quickly), but it helped to stall out Royale for a while. (Probably wish I had Flamethrower instead of EQ last time I used it in Tree; might've killed opposing Grass type before it killed me with a +6 Grass move [at the time, I had Giga Drain instead]). (I have a video of the last Royale battle I had; need to figure out how to post it so you guys can see) Right, and I'll have to start using Pheromosa soon now that I traded one over from Moon; I've heard a lot about it being a pain to deal with; let's see how it works for the 'mons I have on me right now.=== Also need to prep boxes for when Bank finally gets working; Sun has about 12 boxes available, so can move a few things here/there (haven't gone crazy with breeding in S/M).
