Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yeah, I was wondering about why the Strange Souvenir was in X/Y but didn't do anything until now (and even then, it's not doing much). But like evil mentioned, it's fine to speculate about stuff, but the chances that we can very well be wrong is high. (If we were getting Gen 4 remakes now, then they probably would've said something [either Serebii would've reported it, or we'd get Nintendo Directs or something]. You do recall that Sun/Moon only came out about 2 months ago, and is still new as far as games go)

Here might be a official sourc saying it will come 10/20/1217http://fantendo.wikia.com/wiki/Pokémon_Temporal_Diamond_and_Pokémon_Spatial_Pearl_Version I'm going to just come out and say that not only is a fan wiki a ridiculously unofficial source, the sheer amount of info provided makes it seem INCREDIBLY fake. There's no way that that much information would have been released without so much as an official announcement the games are even in production. There's simply no way in hell. evilfusion
Whoops it musta been too good to be true....... A little of it sounded perfectly credible, but when it starts saying super specific things, like locations of certain Pokemon or items, or newly unveiled Megas and similar, for a game that hasn't even been officially revealed to be in development, it stretches the credibility limit immediately, and it only got more outlandish from there. And near the bottom, EVERYTHING sounded like super-wishful thinking or blatant fan bias. The one that made me outright laugh was "The PSS and the Gen VI communication features will return". If that's not fan bias at its finest, I don't know what is. I mean, I dislike the Gen VII communication features, too, but ORAS used the same features as the rest of Gen VI. Flash Flyer - Sakura
It would've been nice if GTS let us put custom messages instead of using defaults this generation (because it just doesn't sound natural). Part of the reason would be to tell kids (partially the literal kids and the other, yeah, everyone else) to stay away from self-GTS trades, and maybe even specifications. (Yeah, people can lie about it, which is certainly not new, or write derogatory messages). It's not that we want to be bastards and request power 'mons for weak stuff, but we're trying to complete dexes on our own and do not need some random kids sniping on them. That, and actually update faster when a Pokemon is already traded.
Flame Dragon
When in pursuit of a shiny Salandit, since ONLY the female evolves, and it's got a 1/8 female-to-male gender ratio, a Sylveon's Cute Charm is ideal for upping the chances of encountering a shiny female. It's for this reason that I'm not bothering to try to breed for a shiny Salazzle - the odds are stacked against you. Cute Charm in general is really helpful to have when hunting Pokemon when your breeding stuff. Ha-loi city was supposed to be pearl harbor and ten carte hill was supposed to be diamond volcano... See......? Game freak tends to shadow possible remakes and games, even though the shadow marks tend to be well hidden. That is such a logical jump. It is far more a coincidence than anything since those are two iconic locations in Hawaii so their inclusion doesn't really mean anything. Anyway, question, does breeding HAs still suck? Its so frustrating when you only get 2 hits in the batch of 5 and I'm curious if this is still common. I feel like it is, but might as well ask. I was breeding Snow Warning on Vulpix (female w/ HA), and I think I actually got more hits than misses. And with my batch of 5 Sandshrew, only 1 was a miss. The shiny one. *eyeroll* But a female with the ability usually has a higher rate than a male with a Ditto, but I haven't done any male HA breeding, so I haven't noticed. But since you can pick up more than 5 eggs at once (they go in the box), breeding in general isn't QUITE as painfully tedious.

I've might just be super unlucky but I tend to run really bad when breeding for HAs. Yea, females are always more valuable since you can breed eggs moves on them. I tend to just grab 5 and hatch them. I can get more eggs but I'd rather not keep running back to and from the PC to put in the extra eggs. Yea, females are always more valuable since you can breed eggs moves on them. I tend to just grab 5 and hatch them. I can get more eggs but I'd rather not keep running back to and from the PC to put in the extra eggs. Admittedly, one thing that annoys me is that when I retrieve 5 eggs from the box, they will ALL hatch within a step of each other. I shouldn't find this annoying...but it's incredibly annoying to see "Oh?" Egg Hatch animation. Nickname option. Take a step (which feels like it takes forever when you're riding a stationary Tauros) "Oh?" *repeat this another 3 times* And I prefer to accumulate the eggs, because if I take a break or decide to go to bed, I just plop into Poke Pelago for a while and let them hatch there. Maybe it's because breeding in XY was so mindless. I'd be on a bike, only have to glance at the game every so often, then after each egg, I'd go a few more steps or couple seconds of movement and then the next would hatch. It's hard to call it immersive, but it's less...intrusive, I guess, to have a gap of a few seconds before the cycle repeats again. And while Tauros riding egg hatching feels slightly faster, it can annoy me that I MUST use the circle pad (I'm getting over that) and that I must hold the B button for faster movement. Then again, I got pissed off in ORAS that they made an incredibly amazing Breeding pathway at the Battle Resort, but randomly set sand traps on the path, causing JUST enough of a slowdown effect that an O-Power wears off before the 5 eggs are all hatched. There is LITERALLY no reason for those sand traps. They don't hinder you in any manner that justifies their existence, but it slows you down enough where you miss out on some of an O-Power's effect. Flash Flyer - Sakura
The guy is right about one thing:Game freak referenced the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games in X/Y and the strange souvenir Shadowed the sun and moon games. Ha-loi city was supposed to be pearl harbor and ten carte hill was supposed to be diamond volcano...See......? Game freak tends to shadow possible remakes and games, even though the shadow marks tend to be well hidden. Geographically, Hauʻoli City spans the width of Waikīkī (east) to roughly west Oʻahu (the part where Icy and I live). Marina itself is roughly Pearl Harbor, yes. Ten Carat Hill is around the same location as Diamond Head would be (yes, it's called Diamond Head, not Diamond Volcano [it is a volcano, yes, but hasn't erupted for a very long time]). Then again, if they really wanted to be accurate to Hawaiʻi's topography, the ocean in the northwestern area should've been accessible (roughly North Shore). Kālaʻe Bay is roughly Kahana or Kāneʻohe Bay, but don't quote me on this. Mt. Lanakila is Mauna Kea on the Big Island (contrary to what you might think about our climate, yes, it does snow over there; other places in this state do not, so Gamefreak got that right). I won't say much about the other islands and their geographical locations because I have not visited the other islands (at least within the past decade/half). Malie City is roughly Hilo, Mt. Hōkūlani is Mauna Loa (the other highest mountain in this state). [suppose living here does pay off a little, since it's easier to pinpoint where certain locations in this game would be, relative to their actual location] // end Hawaiian geography lesson ====Right, and have you tried using Kālaʻe Bay to search for Bagon; you have a much better chance than trying to search one on Route 3. I'll assume you can at least use Lapras to get there by now. I should probably start Eevee breeding and catching Ditto of a particular nature (now that I have enough Synchronize users with the natures I want). Been putting it off since I want to get to the league quickly and only had that Eevee from the daycare center. There is LITERALLY no reason for those sand traps. They don't hinder you in any manner that justifies their existence, but it slows you down enough where you miss out on some of an O-Power's effect. I normally have nice gaps between getting eggs so I rarely have eggs hatching back to back. And yea, if I was breeding more in Sun/Moon I'd likely use Poke Pelago a bit. I do prefer finishing the breeding in one sitting, but I can totally see the use of mass hatching while sleeping or going to work. Honestly when I breed I just listen to a podcast or watch a stream while I have my character go around the tower. Yea, the random sand traps are SO stupid. Its like, if you wanted them, fine, why put them in the straight away path. Though whenever the egg hatches you need to reset the direction which is also annoying. Also, since I'm breeding fossils, the stupid 1/8 gender split is terrible and I hate it. I also somehow breed a 5 IV perfect (pretty sure I started with a 0 and my 6 IV ditto so WHAT THE HELL MATH) but I don't have all the egg moves for Armaldo which is disappointing. I also somehow breed a 5 IV perfect (pretty sure I started with a 0 and my 6 IV ditto so WHAT THE HELL MATH) but I don't have the egg moves for Armaldo which is disappointing. The whole "ORAS' breeding route needlessly slowed down" thing led me to send my 6 IV Ditto back to my X file and resume shiny breeding there. Only have to focus on "left/right" directions, and while it required input more frequently, it was less frustrating to deal with. It was even dumber because of how OBVIOUS it was that they designed the Battle Resort thing for breeders. A simple, straightforward route that auto-rotates? A daycare literally on the path? MOVE TUTORS next door? You know what this needs? Sand traps to slow the bike down briefly for no reason other than to arbitrarily slow down the bike for a second or two per round, which adds up hella fast when your O-Power only lasts 3 minutes. If I changed direction before hitting the sand traps on each side, all 5 eggs would hatch before the O-Power expired. Otherwise, I'd only hatch 4 of them. The "need to reset direction each hatch" was annoying, but minor, considering I had shiny bred for many many hours in XY, which required me to frequently adjust horizontal direction anyway. I DO really, really like the fact you can pick up more than 5 eggs. Going back and forth to the PC is not really any more tedious than only being able to carry 5, and with Pelago having a spot to hatch 18 eggs passively, and the chance of a shiny being IN one of the mass-obtained eggs (as was the case for my Vulpix)...sort of evens out. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Took 10 days to finish it, but yeah, Moon maingame is done (now the Champion, and the postgame awaits) [spoiler=Team at the end]Espeon - level 64Primarina - level 59Lunala - level 60Absol - level 58Lycanroc (midday) - level 67Mudsdale - level 57 This time, I wasn't underleveled (yeah, Kukui still gave me a hard time otherwise) Still, I want to train a bit more before Battle Tree (seeing as we don't have a choice to delay the Red/Blue battle when we get there), and I only want to go there for the stat judge right now. Yemachu
Beat Master rank of Battle Royal yesterday, so I can now throw Pokéballs like an idol… the animation is a tad excessive though. My strategy was to bruteforce a way using Mega Salamence, retrying if it failed; got lucky the enemies were using mostly grass and fighting types on the successful attempt. Now I only need to get the Battle style pose from the Battle Tree, but so far all my attempts of getting it failed. I was wondering whether you guys use a custom animation, and if so which and why. I mainly used "Smug", so far the others didn't quite appeal to me; might try the " Idol style" a bit more though.
