You get an Eevee egg at the Daycare center, or you can look around Routes 5 and 6 if you want the 5% chance. I was lucky enough to get a Female Eevee and then bred it with my starter to get the ideal nature (I already mentioned earlier that Primarina ended up with a Timid nature, despite its low speed otherwise).

PokeBank will be updated January 2017; seriously, I considered importing stuff over from XY/ORAS but Bank wasn't modified.

To be fair, I beat her on the first shot in that one, but Clefable gave me a headache (well, Metronome into Tail Glow and a bunch of other stuff, plus Moonlight spam). Hell, I had very little issue defeating her at Aether Paradise.

Yeah i cant wait until i get to import my level 100 Groudon and find the red orb..... Any idea where to find it?

I really wish the Bank would be updated much sooner. I'm starting from the bottom up again with a potential max IV Ditto I Ally Chained, but it wouldn't do no good without the Destiny Knot, and I need 48 freaking BP for that. Battle Royal is awful for grinding since it  can lead to BS results and in normal battles you get 1-2 BP max and it's already difficult. Also doesn't help that my ingame team actually has horrible matchups against Water/Ground/Fire types so I get owned online and in the Tree.

It's really painful and tedious; I got 2 boxes full of battle-ready Pokemon geared to go. ;_;

Ive got it worse my friend. My pass runs out BEFORE the update, and i dont know how long they'll keep you're pokemon before deleting them after it expires..... Which is before Christmas for sure.

And i sold alpha sapphire, my only copy compatible.

(I think you get a Destiny Knot somewhere else in-game, but forgot where you do [or was that the Everstone]. Will need to check the itemdex on Serebii for specific locations.)

Yeah, I was ready to import my stuff from XY/ORAS earlier in the week, but I couldn't because Bank isn't updated. At the moment, I did all the trials, so I should be able to use my level 100s without any problems.

Can you answer this plz? How long is the pokemon kept in your boxes on the server after the pass expires?

Nope, the Knot can only be bought in the store. What also sucks is that the anklets for EV boosts also costs some additional 16 BP if I wanted to speed the EV training. 8 Value Points per Poke too good. But I remembered my friend somehow got Pokerus when he picked his starter so I might as well get that. Lucky guy.

You get a couples months (3-6) before they get deleted.

Whew.... Thats plenty of time then! Yes im relieved. Good to know that ill have enough time to import all the pokemon from Or/As. Not to mention that i have enough money to renew it once the update happens.

I've actually found you if you have the highest rank of Pokeball Store in Festival Plaza, you can buy Premier Balls there. Thing is, getting any given Festival Plaza facility is a crap shoot.

For Minior, Acrobatics is great on it because of Shell Smash + White Herb. Jangmo-o shows up on the final island, and if you're worried about Clanging Scales you can always go for a Special Attack one with other moves like Flamethrower, Focus Blast, and Flash Cannon.

I don't doubt Minior will be viable in the higher tiers, but in game that isn't as good.

I don't mind it being mixed, it just sucks that the major benefit from Scales is something you don't get unless you are mixed. And I HATE Focus Blast and try VERY hard not to use it.

Anyway, is it weird I feel like I'm cheating for having the Refresh experience buff? Like, its part of the game and pretty easy to get, but it feels wrong for some reason.

Because it makes it easier, but given how much of a grind this can be, I find it fair enough. Took me an hour or two to get my level 18 Wimpod to 3o on route 7 before I went to Lush Jungle.

Also I outright abhor using Focus Miss.

EDIT: Wanna know what I hate more? funking SOS Battles. These little shits SHOULD NOT be funking allowed to call for help the same turn I just killed their funking help.

I think I'm going to use it for all my Pokemon and then turn off the EXP Share. Seems like a good compromise. Though I'm going to turn it back on when I get the armored dragon.

And yea, yesterday Jim Sterling had a pretty big thing on twitter about how terrible SOS battles are. I can see where he is coming from. Those I'm curious why people are so reluctant to run from them....

Because in some cases your pokemon are so slow that you CAN'T run from them. Alola, the snail generation.

That is a conundrum, getting a level 1 Eevee with higher happiness than a Eevee on Route 5/6 that is higher levelled, hmmm....

Yeah, I think egg Pokes start at 120 happiness or something. (As I noted before, I got lucky with a Female Eevee in that egg and bred my starter with it to get the two Eevee that eventually became my Espeon and Jolteon).

I may sound like a noob but what are SOS battles like?

Basically, you battle one Pokemon and then it calls another Poke. Great if you want to EV train, but sucky as hell if you don't want to (and yeah, this generation is slow as hell).

----

Oh right, and almost 2 full days of gameplay (yeah, 48 hours logged on-game) and I completed the main storyline.

[spoiler=Team]

  • Espeon (you know this already) - level 58
  • Jolteon (Raigeki) - level 53
  • Solgaleo (Taiyou) - level 60 [yeah, I ran out of names again and just named it the Japanese word for "sun"]
  • Primarina (Ashimaru) - level 54
  • Lycanroc-Midday (Cinnamon) - level 54
  • Mudsdale (Makani) - level 49

Aside from removing Stoutland for the version legendary, team is the same bar getting stronger in levels. Yeah, Kukui really made me work for it [hell knows how many Revives/Max Potions I had to use]; that, and the guy spammed Full Restores.

(* insert scumbag Lance from Pokemon Golder episode 3 *)

Alright then, now to deal with postgame stuff, finish up EV training (because Solgaleo wasn't done yet, but I just said "alright, let's get this over with so I can access the level 50 areas on Poni Island"), catch the Tapus (I'm going to hate Bulu b/c Haina Desert is a pain to navigate) and some other stuff.

EDIT: Oh wait, I technically went over to Bulu's ruins pre-championship, so can just fly over there. Thank goodness...
