Are....those real stats!??!?!!?

104/100/93?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?

I love those stats, and can imagine Decidueye being pretty decent if it gets roost. Not sure about the typing being murdered by Weavile and its reluctance to stay in against Bisharp, but it could work, especially since it has mixed attacking stats so it could get an edge against Tyranitar, a great pursuit trapper.

Primarina is definitely suuper bulky as we expected, except its HP is really low. Hopefully it doesn't get good recovery or we'll be dealing with a monster on stall, or even bulky offense because of its highest Special Attack out of everyone.

Incineroar seems really lacking to me though. 100 ATK is okay, but most things with that low attack in OU have boosting abilities, like Azu and Diggersby's Huge Power or Talon's Gale Wings. I guess it'll just see use in low tiers. Really wish it could have more Attack. Depends on its hidden ability and moves, then.

The stats adding up to 535 puts it in the right range for starter BSTs. Interestingly only one other start has that total, Swampert. The rest range from 534-525.

As for the stats themselves.

Primarina's easily seems the best. The only thing that can end up holding her back is the fact she is unlikely to get a good recovery move and the low HP.

Decidueye's is the weirdest and a lot of how good he is will come down to the move pool. I think Grass/Ghost is likely to make good use of it since they have a nice number of support moves. Still wish it had a little move power behind it.

Incineroar seems the move lacking since while he has an amazing speed tier, he needs more bite behind his attacks.

Really curious to see what the HA's will be since those can be really big. Over all though, these have promise.

[spoiler=Video]

I love the passport thing. That is an amazing concept. Also happy we have gym like things again.

I love that he uses Pokemon Showdown to figure out base stats. Assuming the above leak is right he got it pretty close. And yea, they are getting a lot better at not giving high numbers to useless stats. Though it is asking a lot to more or less 0 the dead stats.

I knew Colress would show up. I just knew it, Aether is definitely his style.

Not watching the videos, though, unless I know there won't be any story elements in them.

Nothing about the story there. Goes over Base Stats for the second stage grass starter and region bird and talks about EXP share. Also, passport.

So, new TCG product images showed something relevant

[spoiler=Spoiler (view at own risk)]

[spoiler=You sure you want to view?]

[spoiler=Really sure?]

Solgaleo/Lunala are evolved pokemon.

[spoiler=Spoiler]

That is really cool. We kind of assumed this already, but having confirmation is sweet. Guessing they evolve based on the game like Rockruff. Doubt this means they are breedable though. Would be awesome if they were though.

This is one of the things I think I am going to avoid spoiling myself on too much. I do already know one of the plot twists, but it was one I saw coming at least.

[spoiler=About UB-01]

Resists Flying and is Neutral to Grass.

Also...........is refered to as a pokemon................from another dimension. It seems.

[spoiler=Type]

The types that resist Flying are Rock, Steel, and Electric. First is weak to grass and the other resists it. Process of elimination says it is Electric.

Crap, I forgot to take into account duel types.

Electric + Normal/Fighting/Ghost/Dark/Fairy/Psychic/Ice

Rock + Flying/Poison/Fire/Dragon

Steel + Rock/Ground/Water

Water/Steel actually seems pretty likely.

Guessing at numbers is dumb

Enjoy

Apparently the story has some major twists. We've been good with spoiler tags, but please put any story spoilers in tags. I will warn you if you don't from this point on.

[spoiler=Nerf Bat]

So, some things are getting out about nerfs. I know one for sure and have heard of two others

For sure

Dark Void is not exclusive to Darkrai (no sketching) and has 50 acc.

T-Wave has 90 acc and now only halves speed.

Gengar has lost levitate for Curse Body

[spoiler=Response]

I'd assume that they'll be in the no eggs group, but yeah I think it's safe to assume that they'd evolve based on the game.

Beware spoilers

These seem to the official stats so keep that in mind. This is the same guy who posted those videos back when the Demo was broken.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wns5m7yA2CM

[spoiler=Starter Stats Official most likely]

Rowlet line gets a new ability called Long Reach, which makes contact-based moves bypass triggering abilities like Static or Poison Point. Basically it makes all of its moves non-contact.

Litten line gets Intimidate. Nothing too special here.

Popplio line gets another new ability called Liquid Voice. This ability turns all sound-based moves into Water-type moves, so kinda similar to Pixilate/Aerilate/Refrigerate in a way. Water STAB Hyper Voice beware!

Also, base stats of final evos according to the video.

Decidueye
HP: 78
Attack: 107
Defense: 75
Sp. Attack: 100
Sp. Defense: 100
Speed: 70

Incineroar
HP: 95
Attack: 115
Defense: 90
Sp. Attack: 80
Sp. Defense: 90
Speed: 60

Primarina
HP: 80
Attack: 74
Defense: 74
Sp. Attack: 126
Sp. Defense: 116
Speed: 60
